Thus we see the Scriptures in the passage of Exodus chapter 25 verses 1 to 12, it speaks about the Ark of the Testimony. Inside the sanctuary, God told the Israelites to make the Ark. The measurements of the Ark were, “And they shall make an ark of acacia wood, the length of which shall be two and a half cubits, its width one and a half cubits, and its height one and a half cubits” (Exodus 25:10). And inside and out it had to be covered with gold. More specific instructions were given for the construction of the Ark. And as God said, “And you shall put in the ark the testimony that I will give you,” the two stone tablets of the Law that Moses received from God had to be placed inside (Exodus 25:16). Once the two stone tablets were placed inside the Ark, they had to put the mercy seat on top of the Ark. This means the justice and mercy of God. That implies that Jesus Christ washed away our sins in accordance with the statutes of the Law by taking our sins upon Himself through the baptism He received and shedding His blood on the Cross. Through this, we are told that in the Kingdom of God there is also justice and His love. And to atone for every human being, the price of life must be paid without exception. We can receive the remission of sin after experiencing death according to the righteous Law that the holy God has given. Put another way, we can receive the remission of sin because Jesus Christ came to this earth, took upon Himself all our sins through the baptism He received from John the Baptist, and died vicariously on the Cross for us. We have received new life through God's love and justice. We must not forget that we must have died for our sins as far as the righteous Law of God is concerned.
Furthermore, we have to remember that we have been set free because Jesus Christ took our sins through His own baptism once and for all, died on the Cross, and rose from the dead. All of us can approach God by believing in that Word and give glory to God's name through our faith. We have been washed clean of all our sins by our faith in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Anyone who believes in the gospel of the water and the Spirit can be delivered from all their sins.
