Thanksgiving

Our responsibility is to thank God and to serve him. Knowledge make you better in Christ.
The most important thing in life, is life itself.
Prayer is not a finished work for Christ our responsibility again is to serve him , Thanksgiving is an expression of faith and it is what we do everyday not what we do at the end of the year, this means we should thank God everyday, you should not wait for the end of the year to thank God. Thanking god or basically giving him our praises or services is our responsibility. So we should not have this mindset of doing Thanksgiving at the end of the year but daily.

• the Christian life can only be sustained in an atmosphere of Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving is personal you don't thank God because you don't have value.
  There is always a reason to thank God, if you can't find any then you haven't realised that life itself is enough reason to thank God.

THREE REASONS WHY PEOPLE DON'T THANK GOD

• COMPLAINING: complain will block your eyes to the much you have and open your eyes so what you don't have, Always murmuring.

• FORGETFULNESS: we tend to forget everything that God has done for us, forgetting that he provides all our needs, we forget the gift of life forget the gift of freedom, you forget everything that he has done for us,just because we are looking somewhere else or we are looking at someone else achievement of 10 years, indirectly we are saying that God is not faithful. Look around you a psalmist said count your blessings and name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.

• FOCUSING ON MANY THINGS WE DON'T HAVE :
  We always focus on the things we don't have than the things we have, we have good life, we have good health, we have happiness, we enjoy so much liberty but will look out for those who seems to be happy outside but inside they are not happy.

CONCLUSION

The reason why we don't progress to the next level is because we have refused to acknowledge God for what he has done, the battles he has fought for us without us knowing, the battles at night, at noon and so forth.
If you thank the king for what he has done he will be energized to do more.
