Walking in Compassion: UNFAILING COMPASSION
(Lamentation 3: 21-32)
It is in the nature of God to have compassion (psa. 86:16). Compassion is usually a close friend of mercy.
Interestingly, we have the nature of God. We were made in his own image after His likeness.
Thus, we have what it takes to show Compassion. It's good we always remember that the Compassion of God towards us kept us alive; the text we read said His compassion does not fail us, so we should show same to people around us.
Some people seem not to have conscience, they are dead to sympathy, but that shouldn't be your case. We are not like unbelievers that always want to oppress people by perpetually being indifferent in helping people.
Most times, they help people for their selfish reasons. We have a different spirit; the love of Christ is in our heart so must express compassion.
We were admonished in the scripture to do good to all men. Jesus went about doing good...that's compassion in action.
We must replicate the life of Christ. Examine yourself today.
God help us all and give us the grace to help people. Amen 🙏
