Idole of Your Heart
The idol in the heart of a man, if it's not God, can be very dangerous.
These idols can do evil in the life of a man if he doesn't get rid of it.
Whatever it is you magnify most in your heart has become your idol. That's the kind of battle that must not stay in one's life because it's going to destroy it. Gen 8:21.

There are so many battles that has been conquered in our lives but the idol of the heart is still there and has been established in the heart of man.
All theses things are what we are supposed to know so that our prayers will not be hindered. The devil is aware of this, and he always make sure people don't know about it so that his mission will always be accomplished. Ecclesiastes 5:1.

If you want to be the friend of God, ensure that your heart is pure. If you are able to do this, you prayers and praises will not be hindered. 1peter 1:15-16
When you go to the ministers of God for counseling, do not go there with the heart of idols. Ezekiel 14:1-4.
Everyone will believe that you are serving God but God might not even know that person, because that person has another idol in his or her heart.

Those that has an idol in their heart that the worship will lead to this

It will not allow a man to be what God wants him to be in life.

It's a evil thing for a Christian to go to the house of God with an idol.
