Amar a Dios con todo tu corazón es el mandamiento más importante.

Pero ¿qué significa esto? Desafortunadamente, vivimos en una época en la que la palabra amor solo puede significar un sentimiento.

Estar confundido entre amar a alguien y "yo lo amo". Sin embargo, simplemente "amar" a alguien no es necesariamente amor en el sentido bíblico. Porque según la Biblia, el amor está íntimamente relacionado con la obra de Dios y especialmente con su amor por hacer lo que Dios quiere, es decir, sus mandamientos y su voluntad. Jesús dejó esto en claro cuando dijo:

Juan 15:14
"Si me amas, guarda mis mandamientos".

Y Juan 14: 21-24
El que tiene mis mandamientos y los guarda, me ama.

Greetings to all my brothers in the HeartChurch community

Loving God with all your heart is the most important commandment.

But what does this mean? Unfortunately, we live in an age where the word love can only mean one feeling.

Being confused between loving someone and "I love him." However, simply "loving" someone is not necessarily love in the biblical sense. Because according to the Bible, love is closely related to God's work and especially to his love for doing what God wants, that is, his commandments and his will. Jesus made this clear when he said:

John 15:14
"If you love me, keep my commandments."

And John 14: 21-24
He who has my commandments and keeps them loves me.
