Straight Paths

Hebrews 12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

The paths of life could be crooked and uncertain. Most times, every available known path is exhausted without a solution to the problem. But there's a straight path that leads to success and bliss.

That path is Jesus. In order to make our paths straight, we must make Christ our path. This means making His word the ultimate guide in all that we do. Are you truly walking in Christ?

Our chosen path and how straight our path is, have an effect on the lives of people around us. In order to make sure that weak people around us are not doomed, we must remain strong. Thus, we are not only walking in Christ for ourselves, but to remain an inspiration to someone who would have given up if not for our zeal. Don't be careless about your life in Christ for you are an encouragement to someone. Don't let the lame turn away from God because of you.

It's expedient that we live in a way that will bring healing to the depressed. At times we need to ask ourselves " has anyone been healed emotionally because they met us? Other people's wellbeing is also our responsibility before God. Let us walk in Christ, let us walk in love.

Dear Father, thank you for giving us the opportunity to live for Christ and people around us. Please open our eyes of understanding that we may walk in your love and be a channel to the healing of others, in Jesus name. Amen.
