Devotion Today: Godliness With Contentment

1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

The presence of God in our lives is a full package that guarantees our physical and spiritual prosperity.

Thus, the first and most important attribute we should have in life is GODLINESS.

Godliness is the attitude of living according to the principles of God's word. It's so paramount that if we fail in this everything we do becomes vanity and worthless.

In fact, living without having God as our topmost priority is a wasted life and a calamity marking time to manifest.

In the light of this understanding, we must be contended in what the God in us blessed us with.

The life of the godly is a steady flow of blessings, thus the greed and selfish desire for possession is not the desire of God for us.

Lack of contentment drives away the presence of God from us and ushers in the pride of life and the lust of the flesh.

Think on this thing.
