Devotion Today: A Complete Man

Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Jesus is the head of all principality and power. This is why anyone who submit to Him is made free from other powers. Today, I bring you an eternal truth: we can only be complete if we are in Christ. To be complete means having an eternal value and relevance. It's beyond what we can see physically. This completion is all about Jesus, for without Him we can't exist. Thus, in the journey of being complete, we must first be in Christ ( I.e abide in Him). It's our intimacy with Christ that put us in a position to be complete. Thus, abiding in Christ is more important than the completion because without Christ we won't have who to be completed in. It's critical enough to consider the fact that the world is full of emptiness and vanity. Nobody has ever or will ever be complete in what the world have to offer. The pride of life, lust of the flesh and the vain glory thereof can't make a man complete. This is why nobody has ever been satisfied by having these things, only in Christ can we be satisfied.

Brethren, by track record and current life experiences, we can conclusively declare that Jesus is all we need. Don't be deceived to think that more riches, more connections or more certificates will make you complete. The bliss and peace you seek is only found in Christ. Thus, it's time for the strayed to return to Jesus. It's time to pursue the solution and not more problems. It's time to lay hold on He who is able to help us enjoy the wealths and the numerous accomplishments. Without Jesus nothing will really make sense. No matter your achievements, run to Jesus today. *Life without Christ is not worth it.
