After Righteousness

1 Timothy 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

The Almighty God have things dear to Him and thus instructs us to go after them. But the ungodly things are detested by the king of glory.

We are to follow after righteousness. This is the attitude of doing what is right before God all the time. God's principles and the presence of the Holy Spirit help us to stay righteous.

We are to follow after godliness. Let no action of yours contradict the will of God. If it's not the will of God, we shouldn't get involved in it, no matter how acceptable it appears before men.

Our faith in God should remain unshakable at all times. Even in the midst of hopeless situations, we should never forget that Jesus is able.

The attitude of love, patience and meekness should be daily manifested in us. Let us love genuinely. Let us learn to wait on God and remain humble when our breakthrough finally arrives.

There's responsibilities laid upon us in Christ, let us never fail God.
