Walking in The Spirit

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

The Almighty God has given us all it takes to walk in the Spirit.

Walking in the Spirit entails consciously doing what God's word says or permit. The word of God is inspired by the Holy Spirit, thus walking in obedience to the word is walking in the Spirit.

We must be intentional in our daily interactions with people around us. We must listen to what God says about anything we want to embark on.

The leading of the Spirit of God will stop the voice of the flesh from controlling our emotions and actions.

Without the leading of the Spirit, the natural man is controlled by selfish desires, the lust for money, fame, recognition, among other earthly destructive ambitions.

Those who are not led by God's Spirit can never experience God's presence and the benefits of walking with God.

Take a stand today and allow the Holy Spirit to be in charge of your dealings.

Dear Lord, thank you for giving us your Spirit. Please help us to walk in the Spirit and never be carnal in our actions, in Jesus name. Amen.
