Not Ashamed

Psalms 34:5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

One of the amazing benefits of being in oneness with the Almighty God is that we can't be subjected to shame.

Brethren, it's impossible for the King of kings to allow His own to suffer shame, except there's a compromise on our part.

Today, the Spirit of God admonishes us to look unto Christ, for by so doing our burdens shall be lightened. This means the cares of this world and the difficulties of life will be overwhelmed by the glory of God.

To look here, means focus. It is a state of mind that determines to trust God for a way out, irrespective of present confusion, difficulties or lack of sleep.

Let us ignore the problems and focus on Christ today. Jesus is able to lighten our burdens and wipe away our shame only if we open the door of faith for Him.

Dear Father, thank you for the assurance of light and boldness on us as we focus on you alone. Please grant us the grace to trust you at all times, in Jesus name. Amen.
