Lamp in the dark 🌕

We have always seen how the light prevails over the darkness, Jesus showed himself as the light that conquered the darkness, and left us the legacy of enlightening the lives of many. The Word of God is the best guide for a victorious and happy life. It is a source of resources for each day of our lives. Without God's guidance, everything we do, no matter how good, will have no guarantee of success or happiness.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path" (Psalm 119: 105).

The word also says that a light cannot be hidden but must come out to illuminate the path of many. If we must remain united to the source of light, which is Jesus, in this way give witness to the power. Our life in Christ is similar to a lamp, in Matthew 5:14 it says that we are the light of the world and like a lamp that shines in the midst of darkness we have to shine before the world and these lamps needed oil to work.

We must add oil to our lamp and this is achieved by communion with the holy spirit, we cannot let the lamp go out because the purpose that brought us to earth would also go out. If we think about light and darkness, we can conclude that there can be no darkness where there is light. When we take time to reflect on how it is, or what the situation is in the world we live in, it could be said that it is plunged into deep darkness.

We cannot let that light that God placed within us go out even in the midst of the worst circumstances, Christ the light of the world illuminates us from eternity.
