God had gave Samuel instructions to go to the house of Jesse and salve one of Jesse sons to be king over Israel. But Samuel was scared. He told the Lord that If Saul know it, he will kill him.” By then, Saul was the king of Israel, and Samuel was more scared of King Saul than he's afraid of God, because he knew that God was so loving, He's merciful and He's kind. So, God teach him what he'll do: God told him to organise for a sacrifice and invite Jesse for it, and if Saul hears to it, he should just tell him he came to sacrifice to the Lord.” Can you imagine that?

Already, God had His plan, but now, Samuel was going to influence the plan of God, because of panic. But you know what? God give way! He found how to make what He needed Samuel to do convenient for him. Samuel would have expected God to say, something like "I’m God! I’m telling you what to do; go and do it; nobody can kill you!” But no; God is not like that. When He instruct you or give you direction, He would watch your response or your reaction. He may even consider your excuses and make some modification for you, just like the case of Samuel.

But God still don't want you to hold on to your panics. 1 John 4:18 says perfect love sends out panic. Many people have a difficulties while they do the perfect will of God because of either selfishness or panic. Thus, the solution to selfishness and panic is love. Love has no selfishness, and it has no panic. Love is the solution of God to the real problems of man. You may refuse to listen to God and go after your own decisions, or because of panic you may refuse to listen to Him and go in another direction but when you learn how to walk in love and open your heart to the reality of God's personality, always, you will be in sync with Him.

Nobody can ever walk in love unless he discovers Lord Jesus Christ. When you get to know Lord Jesus Christ, things will definitely change. This is the reason why we preach the Gospel, for men to know Jesus, and have our knowledge of the love of God and learn how to walk in His love.
