TAKE AWAY MY REPROACH!

TEXT: MATTHEW 9:19-22

Key Verse:
"For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole" (Matthew 9:21).

The woman in our Bible story had a serious health problem. Blood was flowing out from her body continuously. She was not allowed to mix freely with other people until she heard about Christ. She took the right step, went to Jesus and had her reproach taken away. She was made whole!

Goliath was a reproach to the children of Israel until David came to the scene; God took away the reproach and gave them victory over their enemies.

What is the reproach in your life? Is it sin, sickness, failure or poverty? Jesus is able to take these reproaches away. Just come to Him in total surrender and faith. Let Him know that you cannot help yourself. He has promised to help you. He will turn your suffering and sorrow into joy.

However, like the woman in our story, you must take the step of faith, pray and trust God to take away every reproach from your life. Spend quality time to pray now.

Prayer: Dear God, take away my reproach and bless me.
