GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Having began our new walk with God, we have to unravel deep truths that will make our living profiting.

Romans 5:17

For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Our new walk with God affords us of a life without struggles. Our worry in life should not be about blessings, favour or victory, we only need to celebrate the blessings, favour and victory which Christ had already granted us.

Being in Christ, our success in life is not dependent on how much we strife to live right and perfect, rather, it is dependent on the righteousness of Christ Jesus.

Hear what the Scripture says:

“as He is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17).

The life of Christ in us by faith affords us the tangible blessings in this tangible world. If Christ in Himself is blessed, favored, and victorious, then we are.

Our being in Christ Jesus means that today, God assesses us and sees us through the perfectness of Christ Jesus. The righteousness of Christ Jesus is our righteousness. Truly, the scripture explains that Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, became sin for us, and this qualifies us to become the righteousness of God (see 2 Cor. 5:21).
