This is the second part of my last post - Ways God can take care of His servant in the midst of dryness and severe famine

I will still be using the same text from my last post - 1 Kings 17:1-9

1 Kings 17:1-9 KJV
[1] And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
[2] And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
[3] Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
[4] And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.
[5] So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord : for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
[6] And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.
[7] And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
[8] And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
[9] Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee

The Lord provided the best for his servant (vs 6)

In verse 6 of the text, we see that the kind of meal provided for Elijah was that of bread and meat. This meal was the best available in those days among the Israelites. Meat was mostly reserved for special occasions and feasts among the Israelites, it was only kings that had meat daily. The implications is that Elijah was fed like a king and every day was a special occasion for Elijah. I pray for your that the your shall enjoy the best of God's provisions even in this season in Jesus' name

The Lord never forget his servant in the place where he kept him (vs. 7-9) -

A time came in the life of Elijah that the river from which got his water was running dry because there was no rain in the land, then God quickly provided a way out for Elijah. God did not forget Elijah at the place where he put him, nor did God asked Elijah to sort himself out. Rather God sought out another means of sustenance for Elijah. I announce to you that God knows where you are and he is aware of your presence situation, he will never forget you, he will surely sort out things on your behalf in Jesus' name

Let me conclude this message with God's word of assurance from Hebrews 13:5 -Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said " never will I leave you, never will I forsake you." Let what God has said continually ring bell in your ear : " never will I leave you, never will I fosake you."
