DO NOT BE EASILY ANGERED

ECCLESIASTES 7:8-9

The end of a matter is better than the beginning, and a patient spirit is better than a proud one.
Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger settles in the lap of a fool.

While thinking about what to write on this topic, I remembered a saying that one of my friends used to say to me;

"You can't help the way people react to you but you can help the way you respond to them".

This say is true because many at times, we get angry at the way people talk to us, behave towards us, those things hurt us to much and we feel all angered up to let them know how we feel or how hurting their words are to us but then, acting or reciprocating a hurting act or words towards the same person who hurt us does not show how matured we are but only shows how like-minded we are with that same person who hurt us first.

We just have to learn not to be easily angered by what people say or do to us because at that time we are angered, we can't control our we respond to people so it is advisable that we all learn to control our anger to avoid causing havoc to people.

It is not bad to get angry towards what is done to us but it worse if we don't know how to control the way we respond when angered by people. Most people can destroy things or people when they are angry and this becomes there weak point which the devil will always dwell on to block them from assessing God's throne of mercy.

For everything a man sows, so shall be reap says the scripture so, there is a consequence for any man who responds negatively when angered or causes havoc when angry.

It is advisable we learn to control our temper, when angry because our reactions when angry makes people see us as a fool.
