Get over your past and face your future
Great truths we find in the words of the apostle Paul when he said: “Brothers, I myself do not pretend to have already reached it; But I do one thing: forgetting certainly what is left behind, and reaching out to what is ahead, 14 I press on to the goal, to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3: 13-14 ".

Paul says, we must forget what is left behind. In other words, you have to forget all those things from the past that caused you a lot of damage and generated very painful wounds in your soul that cornered you to not forgive or to be left with some trauma that makes it difficult for you to forget. the damage they did to you.
It is necessary to remember that we are now people born in Christ and that we have a new birth in the spirit that helps us forgive and forget the horrible things that were done to us in the past and that now there are more valuable and important things.
It takes a great step forward to forget what is left behind and begin a victorious walk in Christ Jesus, in order to obtain the glorious crown of eternal life.
We cannot continue to live full of resentment and hatred towards people who hurt us. The Lord has given us a new opportunity in life to take advantage of every second and minute of life to experience the love of God in our hearts and in pleasant moments to forgive our offenders.
We have a wonderful path ahead of us, which we have not yet reached, but we continue our race with the greatest hope of obtaining the crown that Christ has for each one of us.
Christ is the reason for our goal, that is why we must forget about all those things that were left behind that could prevent us from moving forward and obtain the reward of reaching the goal where Christ Jesus is with our crown.
Indeed, our past can drag us back and hinder us from moving into the future when God wants us to move but letting go comes in with the help of the Holy Spirit to help us move at the pace God wants us to move regardless of our past.
Thank you for commenting, your words were very wise. Blessings.
