Heartchurch: "Do you enjoy your relationship with God?" 💖
Greetings brothers!!
There is nothing better than being in the presence of God! For this we must enter the throne of grace with an attitude of gratitude and humility, and day by day we will cultivate that friendship and communion with God.
Matthew 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."
This promise is for all of us who have believed and accepted Jesus as personal Lord and Savior.
But like every promise this one; it is conditional on each party fulfilling its obligation or work.
If you do your part to keep a clean heart. God will do his part for you to see it.
If you knew the love of God, surely this yearning will be born within you; the "pure in heart" receive this wonderful reward.
The phrase of pure heart, according to ancient Greek, refers to rectitude, honesty and clarity. Therefore, it describes those hearts without contamination, transparent, without having to be accused, with nothing to hide, those who are absolutely sincere and not lukewarm in their commitment to God.
We must be very careful about leading a double life, being someone at church and someone else at home. The challenge for the children of God is to fight to be whole at all times; we can pretend in front of others, show an unreal appearance to those around us, but we will never deceive the Lord.
Many Christians in worship raise their hands to worship in church, but in their hearts they have no devotion for God, since when they return home they return to their same wanderings and do not make an effort to change. The double life is the simple reflection that there is no fear of the Lord, playing a game that sooner or later will end badly.
Jesus in his teaching declares a promise for those servants of God who struggle day by day to lead a righteous life.
The Bible says "they will see God" a promise in the future tense, but also for the present. They will be able to enjoy a special communion with the Lord here on earth and at all times; for these brothers the Christian life will have become a delight.
We may profess to be Christians, but not everyone can behold God. For many believers, the Christian life has become a weight, a burden that becomes heavy every day. But others grow from Glory to Glory, knowing and enjoying the presence of the Lord more, they raise their hands, sing with all their might, dance because they enjoy an intimacy with Christ, they are "blessed", that is to say "happy".
Do you enjoy your relationship with God?
The promise of the Lord is for everyone, you can enjoy and enjoy his Presence if you are willing to have a clean heart. Confess your sins, repent and strive to walk on the straight, honest and upright path. Don't forget that He wants you to be happy.
