INVOKE IT FOR YOUR DELIVERANCE
There is a song that people sing more often over here that says "the blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus set me free, from sins and sorrows, the blood of Jesus set us free.
The truth is that it is not only in the movies that the director of film maker/script writer will write about how the spirit of the dead would be invoked and it goes about hunting for those who had a hand in it's death.
This may not be a proper analogy, but there is something that is unique about this scene in the movie. So one of the days, I asked myself, if evil/death could be invoked, and it works, how about God? Can't we invoke the blood of Jesus for our deliverance ?
The answer to this is not far fetched because the Bible says in Revelation that we overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Rev. 12:11 NKJV
It is usually done when praying over someone who is tormented by demons in other to release him/her from it’s control. In most cases, it is meant to use Christ delegated authority given to believers to carry out this work on earth.
You are on the offence, which entitles you holding/invoking the blood against such powers. The blood, to you, is your safety and protection. When released against opposing powers, marks their destruction and doom. That’s why in the deliverance ministry, you notice the reaction of the “possessed” anytime “fire” or the blood of Jesus is mentioned. Stand on your God’s given authority, speak and invoke the blood against them and see the wonders it carries (Matt. 18:18). Let’s start it today, do it tomorrow and always to reap the benefit of it. Jesus Blood can protect.
In the second Book of Exodus 12:12,23 The Bible records the instruction that was given the Children of Israel in the land of Egypt. They were asked to
12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. vs 12
24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.
So beloved, there is nothing that is as effective as pleading the blood of Jesus, that blood is effective and efficient. It can work for all of us today, tomorrow and years to come.
