PATIENCE
Patience is staying with the promises of God even when there is no physical manifestation. It is also the ability to hold one's discomfort for a long time.
A patient person can stand in faith even in the face of persecution and tribulation.
One of the hardest things to do is to patiently wait for something.
Abraham waited patiently for the promises of God, he believed the Lord while waiting and it was credited to him as righteousness (Hebrews 6:15, Genesis 15:6).
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him (Lamentation 3:25).
We can't be patient on our own, it is a fruit of the spirit not the work of the flesh. It takes the help of the Holy Spirit to wait.
God waited patiently for us to come to repentance and He is patiently waiting for those who haven't known Him (2Peter 3:9).
James 5:7-8 “Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near[NIV]”.
Faith is waiting for God, love is waiting for men, grace is waiting for time, and hope is waiting for God's promises.
ACTION POINT
God is patiently waiting for all men to come to repentance. Tell a soul about the patience of God today.
PRAYER
