LOOKING UNTO JESUS

If a man is in a difficult situation and he sees a Helper passing, he doesn’t look at the helper, he looks unto the Helper for rescue.

Look into Jesus for healing; When Christ walked the earth, He healed all kinds of diseases and infirmities. His power is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrew 13:8). If He healed the ancient ones l, He can heal you. He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17).

Look into Jesus for rest; There is so much trouble in the world and we can only find true peace in Jesus. Stop being bothered about your problems and troubles. Jesus says “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”(Matthew 11:28).

We claim to look into Him without results, the problem is that we tend to look at ourselves (human abilities). We are always bothered with the question “How will I go about this?”, the question you should ask is “How will God go about this?”. Now, you have shifted the problem to God, and any difficult situation that comes His way gets solved.

Hebrews 12: 2 “We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!” [TPT]

When you place Christ at the center of your life, things will never fall apart. Stop looking elsewhere for salvation, healing, deliverance, and peace. It’s only Jesus who can give you these.

ACTION POINT
Stop limiting God in your mind, it’s an insult to Him when you depend on your abilities. Fix your gaze on Him and find rest today.

PRAYER
Say this with faith; I depend and rely on Jesus for rest. I will no longer depend on what I can do but on what God can do. This storm shall pass. Amen!
