I remember the difficult years I spent fighting a terrible battle against a powerful vice that dominated and strangled me in such a way that it made me kneel in front of that perverse vice of alcohol.
Certainly, they were very hard days of combat, in which, I felt very weakened, because I did not have enough will to dominate the terrible vice of alcohol. The situation was getting worse, because it was covering other areas of my life that were greatly affected by this vice, such as marriage, my work and interpersonal relationships.
The battle raged on the spiritual field, simply because the enemy was invisible, although he manifested himself by taking dominion over me, through alcohol.
In the midst of the fierce struggle, one day I made the decision to put Christ at the forefront of my battle, it was something surprising in the family, when I said that I had received Christ as the personal savior of my soul.
Things took a very significant turn in my life, within a week, I had begun to experience a powerful release from the addiction of alcohol. Christ had broken the chains and was at the forefront of my spiritual battles, taking down all my enemies who had taken hold of me.
In just two weeks, I was able to experience that "whoever the son frees, he will truly be free." I was very free and in a church worshiping and singing to the Lord. It was something extraordinary and difficult to explain, but what I can testify that Christ broke the chains and today I have 22 years serving God with great passion and joy for his glory and honor.
When we put God at the forefront of our battles, we are giving Him his rightful place, because He said, "Mine is your battle."
Dear friend, perhaps I do not know the battle you have in your life now, however, God does know it and tells you to put Him at the forefront of that battle to give you victory and change your sadness into abundant joy.
Make the important decision today to receive Christ in your heart and you will reap abundant victories in your life for the glory and honor of God. Amen.

Pon a Dios al frente de tus batallas

Recuerdo los difíciles años que duré peleando una batalla terrible contra un poderoso vicio que me dominaba y me estrangulaba de manera tal que me hacía arrodillar frente a ese perverso vicio del alcohol.
Ciertamente, fueron días muy duros de combate, en el cual, me sentía muy debilitado, porque no tenía la suficiente voluntad para dominar el terrible vicio del alcohol. La situación empeoraba, porque estaba abarcando otras áreas de mi vida que se veían muy afectadas por este vicio como era el matrimonio, mi trabajo y las relaciones interpersonales.
La batalla arreciaba en el campo espiritual, sencillamente porque el enemigo era invisible, aunque se manifestaba tomando dominio sobre mí, a través del alcohol.
En medio de la recia lucha, un día tomé la decisión de poner a Cristo al frente de mi batalla, fue algo sorprendente en la familia, cuando dije que había recibido a Cristo como salvador personal de mi alma.
Las cosas dieron un giro muy significativo en mi vida, en el transcurrir de una semana, había comenzado a experimentar una liberación poderosa sobre el vicio del alcohol. Cristo había roto las cadenas y se encontraba al frente de mis batallas espirituales derribando a todos mis enemigos que se había apoderado de mí.
En tan sólo dos semanas, pude experimentar, que “a quien el hijo libertare, verdaderamente será libre”. Me encontraba libre en gran manera y en una iglesia adorando y cantándole al Señor. Fue algo extraordinario y difícilmente de explicar, pero lo que sí puedo testificar que Cristo rompió las cadenas y hoy tengo 22 años sirviendo a Dios con gran pasión y gozo para su gloria y honra.
Cuando ponemos a Dios al frente de nuestras batallas, le estamos dando el lugar que le corresponde, porque Él dijo, “mía es vuestra batalla”.
Apreciado amigo, tal vez yo no conozca la batalla que tienes en tu vida ahora, sin embargo, Dios si la conoce y te dice que lo pongas a Él al frente de esa batalla para darte la victoria y cambiar tu tristeza en gozo abundante.
Toma hoy la decisión importante de recibir a Cristo en tu corazón y cosecharás abundantes victorias en tu vida para la gloria y honra de Dios. Amén.
