Buenas noche hermanos, que la paz de Dios, el amor de Jesucristo,
y la comunion del Espiritu Santo sea con todos.

Lucas 1:37 Porque nada hay imposible para Dios.

Era un hombre que confiaba en Dios. No hubo nadie como él entre todos los reyes de Judá, ni antes ni después de él. Permaneció fiel en todo y obedeció cuidadosamente todos los mandatos que Dios le había dado a Moisés. Por eso el Señor estaba con él, y tuvo éxito en todo lo que hizo.

Tiempo después, Ezequías se enfermó gravemente y estaba por morir. El profeta Isaías fue a visitarlo y le dijo: «Dios dice que vas a morir, así que arregla todos tus asuntos familiares más importantes». Ezequías volvió su cara hacia la pared y oró así: «Dios mío, no te olvides de que yo siempre he sido sincero contigo, y te he agradado en todo». Luego lloró con mucha tristeza. Isaías lo dejó, pero antes de salir al patio central del palacio, Dios le dijo:
«Vuelve y dile al rey, que yo, el Dios de su antepasado David, escuché su oración y vi sus lágrimas. Dile que voy a sanarlo, y que le daré quince años más de vida. Dentro de tres días ya podrá venir a mi templo para adorarme. Además, por amor a mí mismo, y a David, quien me fue fiel en todo, salvaré a Ezequías y a Jerusalén del poder del rey de Asiria».

ºIsaías fue y le dio el mensaje a Ezequías. Luego ordenó preparar una pasta de higos y que se la pusieran a Ezequías sobre la parte enferma para que sanara. Ezequías le preguntó:
-¿Y cómo voy a saber que sanaré y que podré ir al templo dentro de tres días? ¿Qué señal me vas a dar?
Isaías le respondió:
-Dime tú qué señal prefieres: ¿quieres que la sombra en el reloj del sol se adelante diez grados o prefieres que retroceda?
Ezequías contestó:
-Que la sombra se adelante es fácil. Lo difícil es que retroceda. Prefiero que retroceda diez grados.
Isaías le rogó a Dios que lo hiciera así, y Dios hizo que la sombra retrocediera diez grados en el reloj de Ahaz.

Esta historia nos deja las siguientes enseñanzas:

-Si nosotros somos obedientes y fieles a Dios, su misericordia y bondad jamás se apartarán de nuestras vidas.
-No hay súplica ni clamor que nuestro Señor no responda, Él siempre está atento a cada una de nuestras oraciones y nos da más de lo que podemos imaginar.

-Para Él no hay nada imposible, es el Creador de todo lo que existe.

A pesar de los problemas que estés enfrentando, este día te animo a serle fiel a Dios, porque en la obediencia está la bendición. No renuncies al llamado que tienes, al matrimonio y a los hijos que te dio, al trabajo que te proveyó. Dios puede rescatar a ese ser querido que aún no tomó la decisión de recibirlo como su único Salvador; puede revertir el diagnostico que los médicos te dieron y sanarte; puede obrar en la vida de ese familiar que se fue y se alejó de su camino; puede dar libertad a todos aquellos que están cautivos en alguna adicción; puede prosperarte y ayudarte a pagar tus deudas; puede conceder los anhelos más íntimos de tu corazón y resucitar aquellos sueños que creías perdidos.

ºJamás olvides que Dios te ama y que todas sus promesas son dignas de confianza, síguelo sirviendo y cumpliendo fielmente sus mandamientos, porque Él te sorprenderá, hará realidad aquello que crees que es imposible y cumplirá todo aquello que te prometió. No permitas que los afanes de este mundo te aparten de Él y te desenfoquen de la misión que te encomendó. Su amor constante y su fidelidad son promesas a las que puedes aferrarte cada día.

º Si prestas atención a estas ordenanzas y las obedeces con fidelidad, el Señor tu Dios cumplirá su pacto de amor inagotable contigo, tal como lo prometió mediante el juramento que les hizo a tus antepasados.

Good night brothers, may the peace of God, the
love of Jesus Christ,
and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with
everybody.

He was a man who trusted God. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, neither before nor after him. He remained faithful in everything and carefully obeyed all the commands that God had given Moses. That is why the Lord was with him, and he was successful in everything he did.

Later, Hezekiah became seriously ill and was about to die. The prophet Isaiah came to visit him and said, "God says you are going to die, so he takes care of all your most important family matters." Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed like this: "My God, don't forget that I have always been sincere with you, and you have liked me in everything." He then he cried very sadly. Isaiah left him, but before leaving the central courtyard of the palace, God told him:
«Go back and tell the king that I, the God of your ancestor David, heard his prayer and saw his tears. Tell him that I am going to heal him, and that I will give him fifteen more years to live. In three days you will be able to come to my temple to worship me. Furthermore, out of love for myself, and for David, who was faithful to me in everything, I will save Hezekiah and Jerusalem from the power of the king of Assyria.

ºIsaiah went and gave the message to Hezekiah. He then ordered to prepare a paste of figs and that they put it to Hezekiah on the sick part so that he would heal. Hezekiah asked him:
-And how will I know that I will heal and that I will be able to go to the temple in three days? What sign are you going to give me?
Isaiah replied:
-Tell me which signal you prefer: do you want the shadow on the sundial to go forward ten degrees or do you want it to go back?
Hezekiah replied:
-That the shadow is ahead is easy. The difficult thing is to go back. I'd rather it go back ten degrees.
Isaiah begged God to do so, and God made the shadow go back ten degrees on Ahaz's clock.

This story leaves us with the following lessons:

-If we are obedient and faithful to God, his mercy and goodness will never leave our lives.
-There is no supplication or cry that our Lord does not answer, He is always attentive to each of our prayers and He gives us more than we can imagine.

-For Him there is nothing impossible, he is the Creator of everything that exists.

Despite the problems you are facing, this day I encourage you to be faithful to God, because in obedience is the blessing. Don't give up the calling you have, the marriage and the children he gave you, the job he provided for you. God can rescue that loved one who has not yet made the decision to receive him as his only Savior; He can reverse the diagnosis that the doctors gave you and heal you; he can act in the life of that relative who left and got away from his path; he can give freedom to all those who are captive in some addiction; he can prosper you and help you pay your debts; He can grant the deepest longings of your heart and resurrect those dreams that you thought were lost.

ºNever forget that God loves you and that all his promises are trustworthy. Keep on serving him and faithfully fulfilling his commandments, because he will surprise you, make what you think is impossible a reality and fulfill all that he promised you. Do not allow the cares of this world to separate you from Him and blur you from the mission that He has entrusted to you. His constant love and his faithfulness are promises you can hold on to every day.

º If you pay attention to these ordinances and obey them faithfully, the Lord your God will fulfill his covenant of inexhaustible love with you, just as he promised through the oath he made to your ancestors.
