CHRISTIAN IN A NATIVE WAY

Followers of Jesus Christ were first called Christian in Antioch (act 11:26)
History has it that Christianity in Africa is a foreign religion. It's embraced in Africa by does who forfeit their age long traditional practices, embracing this "religion of the white man".Some Christians forsake totally the old ways of worship while others combine the both.

This is as a result of partial repentance and ignorance.

Comparing closely their ways of operations, traditional doctrine is fast taking the lead in African christiandom.

Fetching water from the first rain of the year directly from the sky in a basin kept on a high platform in an open area to be used as a solution for spiritual cleansing, broadcasting of groundnut,soft drinks, biscuits or assorted fruits in junctions, room corners and passages for attraction of good luck,furtune and celebration of ones angel, conducting prayers with items like salt, sand from churches, compounds, river and junction, sachet water, grases, pieces of clothes etc and even having the items kept on their alters for certain rituals is not the original doctrine.

This practices leaves some controversy in the mind of worshipers haven been aquinted with traditional practices.

Seeing divine instructions in a traditional form seams not to creat any abnormalities in the mind of some Christians for they subscribe to it considering it a solution to thier physical, biological and spiritual problems.

Christianity needs a rebirth. There should be a maiden orientation to tune minds into the originality of this religion. This will make clair a lot of controversies, aid core repentance and convert the confused from being a "Christian in a native way"
