Thanksgiving
- MESSAGE
Thanksgiving is an inner attitude that reflects in a physical action. While many come with many gift items to express their inner feeling only God can validate if your action is true.
(2nd Chronicles 1:6-8, 1st Samuel 2:3)
• Every thanksgiving service, gives us the opportunity to reflect on the faithfulness of God towards individuals, families and churches.
(Lamentations 3:21-23)
• An open cheque from God is always a proof that ones thanksgiving have received heavenly approval.
(2nd Chronicles 1:7)
• The act of thanksgiving is simply appreciating God for what has been given to you, what is left, and beaming with hope that what is remaining enjoys supernatural multiplication.
(Luke 9:16)
- WHAT IS LIVING HOPE
1.) It is the belief and trust that keeps you going when everything around you points to the negative.
(Romans 5:18-21)
2.) It is that confidence that dismantles uncertainties in the life of an individual with an assurance that positive changes are coming even when the individual can't adequately explain it to people around him.
(Job 14:7-9)
3.) It is belief or confidence in God and His word which opens your eyes to possibilities that others can't see and in turn, changes your language and attitude about your unpleasant condition.
(Job 19:25-26, 2nd Timothy 1:12-14)
- HOW DOES THANKSGIVING KEEP OUR HOPE ALIVE
1.) It makes you see the temporal nature of any negative situation.
(2nd Corinthians 4:17-18)
2.) It diminishes the power of the present unpleasant situation and magnifies the ability and capability of our God.
(John 11:41-44)
3.) It transfers the ability to perform to God and not you.
(Matthew 8:2-3)
4.) By placing our eyes on the finish line of our various expectations.

- HOW DO I APPROACH THE THANKSGIVING ALTER
1.) With the audacity of faith.
(Romans 14:23)
2.) With a heart of gratitude.
(Psalm 33:1-4)
3.) With great expectation of a change of story.
(Proverbs 23:18)
4.) With a positive mindset that the worst is over.
(Matthew 18:26)
- IN CONCLUSION
• Genuine thanksgiving to God is the solid foundation for a living hope of an eventful, favorable, and a productive 2022.
