About the bent woman

On a definite day, as Jesus educate in one of the synagogues, He noticed that a woman was bent double; she could not straighten herself. She had been bent for good eighteen years. Then, Lord Jesus Christ asked her, “...Woman, you have loosed from your infirmity. And Jesus laid hands on the woman: and instantly, the woman was made straight, and she glorified God” (Luke 13:12-13). though the religious leaders present were resentful that Jesus healed the woman on a Sabbath day, Jesus response showed something striking.

Jesus said, “…should not this woman a daughter of Abraham, that Satan has bound, see, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?” (Luke 13:16). Clearly, Lord Jesus Christ stated that it was Satan who kept the woman in that bend condition by “a spirit of infirmity.” And immediately as Jesus dealt with the spirit of infirmity, the woman was straightened up; she was made well by the power of God. Jesus know the spirit world.

Jesus knew that life was spiritual, and evil spirits are real and they are responsible for many problems that people suffer from. And by the Scriptures and insight He grants us by the Holy Ghost, we know how identify Satan and the works he does. But if you did not know the Scriptures, you could be a victim of devices of Satan. Read and meditate on the Word always; speak in tongues all day; be filled with the Holy Spirit, and your spiritual sensitivity will always work faster. There are spiritual aspect to life. You must know what God instruct, and what the devil incite.
