God's intention for man is to inherit his property (eternal and baptism of the holy ghost).
When the man from the pharisees came to Jesus because he was interested in God's property

John.3.1 - There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
John.3.2 - The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
John.3.3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John.3.4 - Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
John.3.5 - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John.3.6 - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Jesus answered him and said, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. the scripture recorded that the man from the Pharisees was confused, though when he approached jesus his intention was to acquire or inherit the property of God but after the discussion, he was greatly confused and left.

And I came to realize something, this man was a religious leader, but even at that he was still asking on how to inherit the properties of God.

• Materially
• Academically and Otherwise

But very hard to inherit the Eternal properties of God except you'll be reborn into the family of God.

In Genesis 15:7-21 I discovered something, when God told Abram that he will bless him and give him the land as his possession.

Gen.15.7 - And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.
Gen.15.8 - And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
Gen.15.9 - And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

Abram was confused and he asked God, how will he know that this things will come to pass, and God pointed to sacrifice...
And I discovered something again, without sacrifice you cannot inherit the properties of God!

Sacrifice means.

• being foolish to become wise
• going down to go up
• loosing to make profit
• dying to live

Without sacrifice you cannot acquire or inherit the properties, for you to know how to be free from the bondage of this world and its entanglements, you must learn how to sacrifice that which is the most important to God.
