Always Walk With God

Good afternoon my beloved brethren, Hope we enjoyed the word of God today in our various churches, let's take a look at this little message that we have here

WALKING WITH GOD

For you to work with God you need to live holy because God is holy. According to the Bible, two cannot walk together except they agree. Living a holy life means, we are in agreement with God. God spoke with Abram thus:

“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” Genesis 17:1

In our discussion today, we are confronted with some necessary obligations for an acceptable walk with the Lord. The first one is clean hands. If your hands are not clean, if your hands are filled with iniquity, you cannot walk with God. What defiles a man hands?. Sexual immorality, outburst of anger, selfish ambition, sorcery, idolatry and many more like this. All this act can deny you from walking with God.

Moreover, it is only a man with a pure heart can effectively and obediently walk with The. our heart is deceitful and desperately wicked, but God is able to remove this wickedness. This is why everybody under the planet must surrender his or her heart to God for a spiritual surgery via genuine repentance. The Scripture says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. If only we can confess our sins to God, He is faithful to give us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. God also promises:

“And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and I will give them an heart of flesh: that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” Ezekiel 11:19-20

Jesus Christ said that we cannot serve two masters at the same time, we can serve God and all those things listed above. Also, the scripture tells us not to love the world and its vanities. Failure to heed to this wordings and scriptural injunction, it will lead to the destruction of your soul. The pleasures and every craving things of this world are all vanity and can hinder our Christian walk with God. May the Lord deliver you from anything that works against your walk with God in Jesus’ name.
