If we want to please God in everything. So we must live lives that show holiness before him.
It is the way of thanking God for the grace that we have received from him, it is the characteristic of the person who has really been born again.
It means separated and set apart for God, chosen and consecrated for Him.
In this passage, Paul describes the way we should live and the discipline we need to be in holiness.
Jesus said that without it no one will see the Lord. If you do not walk in holiness, you will not be able to have communion with God.
Pursue peace and holiness with all, without which no one will see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14).
God hopes that our way of living will be a light for people, he asks us to be the salt of this world and that our behavior reflects that we are different, that we fill ourselves with love and meekness, that we show that we are obeying him, he expects we good deeds.
To live in holiness is to spend time with Jesus and to give up those things that interfere with your personal relationship with Him. If you must withdraw from people who do not help you to live in holiness, do so.
Therefore, live as obedient children of God. Do not go back, to your old way of living, we must sacrifice the desires of the flesh and begin to live for Him. Before we only had God on our lips because of our ignorance, now it is in our hearts, let's fight to be holier every day In everything we do, God is holy and he is pleased when he sees that we are trying to imitate him.
1 Peter 1: 14-16
Without holiness no one will see God. So let's strive each day to become more like God. Let us be imitators of Christ, who is our intercessor at all times before the Father.
