[Car] Tesla Show Room - MODEL Y 2021
I went to the Tesla showroom.
The car must also be seen in real life.
It is larger than Model 3 but smaller than Model X.
You can think of it as a coupe-type SUV.
Compared to the Model 3, the spacious trunk is an advantage.
It is said that the third-row seats will be available in the second half as an additional option, but in a car smaller than the Model X, the third row is a bit irrational.
Cockpit pursues simplicity and practicality rather than flashiness.
The sheet material is also not luxurious.
As far as I know, it is artificial leather, and ventilation seats are not applied.
The air conditioner is also operated with a touch screen.
I think it would have been like to remove the air conditioner with a button, but I think there will be no big inconvenience once it gets used to it.
The handle is also simple.
It is far from luxury or splendor.
However, it is said that the lower body chassis stiffness and body stiffness surpasses that of Volvos and Mercedes-Benz.
It is said that aluminum was actively used for the lower body.
As for the front suspension, the McPherson strut is generally used because of the engine space, and the double-wishbone is adopted for high-end sports cars. In both Model Y and Model 3, "double wishbone" is applied to the front wheel.
The rear suspension is called multilink.
The test drive will be done in the future, but I think it will show sticky cornering.
I will also upload a test drive later.
