What is PoB? What does curation mean to you in Steem Blockchain? What are the benefits of building SP? How do you explain self-upvote as a good or bad social behavior & why? Answer
PoB: The proof of brain or test of brain is the ability of a person to think, analyze and create new ideas by writing a quality content in which others will benefit from it. PoB is a mechanism in distributing rewards to both the Author and the curator in form of steem power in the steem platform.
Steemit is a blockchain platform that allow it's user to share quality content to get reward so in this blockchain every users store or invest which is known as the steam power
The author are rewarded for creating a quality content while the curators are rewarded for reviewing quality content made by the authors that is free from plagiarism and valuable to the platform, this reward is shared between the curator and authors each of them are entitled to 50%/50% of the reward pool.
What Does curation means in steem bockchain?
To me curation means reading a content that is published on the platform to check if the content is free from plagiarism, and also to check the originality and quality of the content. After reviewing the content and it is valuable the user may upvotes the post and even resteem the post but if the content is not originally made the post will be downvoted. In this case when a post is being downvoted both the author and the curator will not receive any reward rather the reward will go back to the reward pool. From the image bellow the green cycle is the upvote and the red cycle is the downvote in steem blockchain.
What are the Benefits of building steem power? (Sp)
Before I share the benefit of buildings steem power first of all let consider what Sp is all about in steem blockchain. Steem power is what gives influence to every user in the steemit blockchain so with that there are several reasons why a user need to build up there steem power among which are:-
- Building your steem power make you get more influence from the curator and the platform as whole.
- Building your steem power give you a better chance of earning more Tron, because the more you get steem the more you get Tron as well.
- Building up your steem power will enable you to support other communities by delegating your steempower to them.
- Building up your steem power will also enable you to get more curation rewards
How do you explain self-upvote as a good or bad social behavior & why?
I most say self-upvote is a bad social behavior because how can a user write a content and still review it and upvote him self. to me is not good at all it will be good if you allow another person to review the work and then make comments or upvote you at list with that a user will know weather the content he or she wrote was a quality content.
For the proof of brain to be more effective in the blockchain we need a curators who will review our content then make corrections were is necessary then upvotes the content if only the content is free from plagiarism and it is valuable to the platform, but for a user to upvotes himself seriously is very bad. As a user let us try and produce quality post and we will grow the attention of the curators to upvote our content.

As at when I was doing this assignment I found out that the price of steem in coinmarketcap is $0.589, the marketcap is $228,199,891 and the volume/market cap is 0.03726, market rank is #182 as shown in the image below

What are the different tokens do you earn by socializing in Steem Blockchain?
The token which I earned are Steem, steem power (SDB), and Tron.
Steem: Steem is the core value or the token of the steem blockchain. which is use to reward quality content.and can be converted into other cryptocurrency.
Steem power(SP): Steem power is also a token which is given to a user as a reward in the steem blockchain. It can also be converted into steem by powering it down.
Steem Dollar (SBD): SDB is also a reward that the user claim or get when every they make a quality content.the SDB can be trade in the steem market to buy steem.
TRON ( TXN): Tron is another token that is being rewarded to the steem users just like steem reward.
CONCLUSION
I most say I have learned a lot from this lesson most especial the benefit of building steempower and also exploring the coin market it really a great experience for me. Thank you once again professor
