Hello Prof @yohan2on, your post on this week's lectures was indeed an impactful one and the homework task a practical one that engages anyone who wants to get serious with portfolio management. Anyway, I will start attending to the Homework task just as needed.

Your Crypto portfolio should have 6 cryptocurrencies and briefly explain why you have chosen to invest in each one of them.

I presently use the Binance Exchange wallet to hold the few coins in my possession and especially for the purpose of this homework task I funded 5,000NGN. But the aftermath of this exercise should be able to reposition my/our focus towards portfolio management as this would determine our ability to HODL and also have a first hand details on the behavioral changes seen in the different coins in our portfolio. In my Binance Exchange Portfolio, I have the following coins; BTC, BTT, BNB, TRX, STEEM & NGN.

REASONS FOR THE CHOSEN TOKENS

BTC:
This is seen as a major player in the crypto world with virtually every Altcoin having a pair with it. BTC is categorize as a first-generational cryptocurrency with presence seen in the Large Cap market. We all know Large cap markets are usually markets with low market risk with tendencies of only bringing in low profits from price changes. Profits made are usually seen to be low due the low risk level and volume required in acquiring a fraction of its coin. With the recent dip and bearish trends witnessed in the market , it is quite obvious that its a good idea to buy in since there are great potentials of regaining from its bullish trend.
BTC as at the time of the post is currently worth $53,821.32 in the market with a cap of $1,006,156,889 and daily trading volume of $48,360,688,361.

BTT:
My essence of buying into this coin is to ascertain its potentials over the stipulated period having seen that the BTT are cheap to acquire. With the recent dip too, buying into this coin is much cheaper now and with the anticipated potentials seen in this coin, I think there would be profits at the end of the tunnel. Coins of this nature are basically left for long-term since its value in the interim are usually infinitesimal, hence the need to allow them gain more value. BTT are also seen to have more utility potentials in the use of dApps such as the dLive, bit torrent and also a TRX-20 token.
BTT as at the time of the post is currently worth $0.00710338 in the market with a cap of $4,679,580,959 and daily trading volume of $1,149,450,342.

BNB:
The Binance Exchange has been my number one exchange platform which most of my crypto related activities are transacted and its native coin "BNB" has been seen to play an utility role in driving the economic activity in the platform. It also have potentials with relatively stable value that also prompted my selecting this coin. With its strategic BURN which has since created scarcity of coin in circulation and increases its value, has been a major breakthrough for its success value rate. With the BNB, I can relatively engage the Binance launchpool, flexible savings, locked/fixed saving and Dual investment projects, which are all different layers of passive income projects and risk aversion levels for everyone to engage.
BNB as at the time of the post is currently worth $600.54 in the market with a cap of $92,428,270,827 and daily trading volume of $7,417,396,012

STEEM:
Steem is my number one coin and it has been my basic coin since my introduction into the crypto community. When I joined the steemit community 4 months ago, the price of steem was 76NGN and at this point of posting this article is valued at 400NGN. Steem has growth potentials that entails being in anyone's portfolio seeing to the price changes and bullish trend captured recently. There are high expectations that it hits an all time high of $10 given to its bullish run since the year beginning.
Steem has a market cap of $322,482,921 and a 24 Hour Trading Volume of $5,532,224 as at the time of this report and valued at $0.846439.

TRX/NGN:
I got acquainted with this coin immediately when it was introduced into the Steemit wallet for every steem power earned. The price of this coin some few months back was seen to be at 23NGN and as at the time of this report, TRX is valued at 56NGN with an up time high of 65NGN seen sometime this month. This clearly shows potentials in the coin with opportunity to increase return in yield if invested into. On the other hand, the amount left in this fiat is to monitor the value of this currency over time. The purpose to allow it run for a while is to determine the strength and resistance it could get from market forces. Though there are plans to liquidate this fiat value into acquiring BNB.
TRX as at the time of the post is currently worth $0.122039 in the market with cap of $8,738,261,577 and daily trading volume of $2,378,605,908.

Whats the growth percentage of your crypto trading portfolio after the 1 or 2days waiting period?

RESULTS OF INVESTMENT AFTER 24 HOURS

TRX

I purchased 10 TRX for 561NGN and after 24 hours it's valued at 558.64NGN. This shows that the value dropped by -3.2NGN which represents 0.57% loss of asset

NGN
I purchased 7.12NGN for 5.23NGN and after 24 hours it's valued at 8.61NGN. This shows that the value increased by +3.38NGN which represents 64.63% gain of asset

STEEM

I purchased 1 STEEM for 398.85NGN and after 24 hours it's valued at 386.37NGN. This shows that the value dropped by -12.48NGN which represents -3.13% loss of asset

BNB

I purchased 0.045 BNB for 1158.18NGN and after 24 hours it's valued at 1226.55NGN. This shows that the value increased by +68.37NGN which represents 5.90% gain of asset.

BTC

I purchased 0.00011326 BTC for 2,866.38NGN and after 24 hours it's valued at 2,787.27NGN. This shows that the value dropped by -79.11NGN which represents 2.76% loss of asset

BTT

I purchased 0.00000200 BTT for 0.000007NGN and after 24 hours it's valued at 0.000006NGN. This shows that the value dropped by -0.000001NGN which represents 14.29% loss of asset

In conclusion, an effective portfolio management enables investment diversification, reduces tie down of asset in one investment and reduces loss of asset just as seen in my investment results.
