September 5th, 2021 marked the end of the 11th week at the same time closing week for fixed Beginners’ classes. A collective effort by me and the rest of the beginner professors which are @lenonmc21, @awesononso, and @reminiscence01 has seen that the week ended successfully.

The number of incoming assignments this week has fallen very much. It seems that many students have already completed all the tasks in the Fixed Course. There were a total of 184 Entries in the 11th week and the distribution of the tasks are as follows:

Note:
Invalid entries can be due to the following reasons:

  • Users who haven't completed achievement 4 levels of the Newcomers' Achievement Program, Or old who have joined Steemit before the initiation of the Newcomers Achievement Program.
  • Users who do not possess the minimum amount of Steem Power (SP) for this task, or users who are powering down.
  • Users with a reputation less than 50.
  • Users with farming accounts.
  • Users who have been blacklisted for plagiarism, Or users who were banned for one reason or the other in Crypto Academy.
  • Users who buy votes to increase account reputation.
  • Reposting homework from the previous week that has not received curation.

Evaluation Results of Each Task

There are a total of 6 different Tasks in the Beginner Fixed Course, and the number of entries entered and the results of the assessments given are also different. Here are the results of the evaluation of each task on the Beginner Fixed Course last week.

Task-01


Task 1 was covered by Professor @sapwood on The Basic introduction of Steem and Tron Ecosystem. There were a total of 41 entries for this task. The student's understanding of the lesson was tested with 3 questions where each user is required to answer just one question.

Observation

  • The number of entries entered on task-01 last week increased greatly.
  • The quality of the content on task-01 is very good. There are already many students who get ratings above average and the number of assignments that get an "Excellent" rating is quite a lot.
  • The types of questions chosen by students are quite varied, but most choose questions number 1 and 2.
  • The average rating of the overall score is 6.14.
  • The percentage of the number of assignments that achieved a score above the average was 36%.
  • There is 1 detected task doing content spinning.
  • There are 3 tasks that belong to the Invalid category.

Task-02


Task 2 was covered by Professor @yousafharoonkhan on Basic introduction to Blockchain, Decentralization, and Blockchain Explorer. There were a total of 38 entries for this task. The student's understanding of the lesson was tested with 3 questions where each user is required to answer just one question.

Task 3 was covered by Professor @stream4u which is discussing Bitcoin, Cryptocurrencies, and Public chains. There were a total of 32 entries for this task. The student's understanding of the lesson was tested with 3 questions where each user is required to answer just one question.

Overall Observations

  • The number of students participating this week is increasing greatly.
  • The average value of each type of task increased well.
  • The number of students who get excellent scores has increased.
  • The amount of plagiarized and spinning content is quite a lot when compared to the previous week.
  • There are still many students who are wrong in grammar.
  • There are still some students who do not meet the requirements for this assignment.
  • Students are getting used to putting a watermark on each of their screenshots.

Overall Suggestions

  • I hope that students who are already good at content quality will continue to maintain consistent quality in other assignments.
  • Make original content, never take content that has been created by others.
  • Give more effort to all assignments made, try to re-learn the topic of discussion, and look for other additional information, don't just rely on the information that has been given by professors.
  • Re-learn grammar and pay attention to any typos in the content of the discussion in the assignment.
  • Please review all rules and guidelines before creating an assignment.

Conclusion

Beginner Fixed Course for season 3 has ended. I congratulate the students who have successfully completed all the assignments given and don't worry for those who haven't finished them because the Beginner Fixed Course will still continue in the latest Session with additional task variants that can be followed by all students who meet the minimum requirements. And in this latest season, the fixed course will be handled by our new professors which are @nane15 and @dilchamo.
