In the ( PoW ) job test, verification of cryptocurrency transactions is done through mining. While in DPoS those in charge of this task are a certain group of Validators or Delegates random that are democratically chosen by network users.

That is true. PoW requires high energy to validate transactions and secure the network which is not like that on DPoS.

DPoS also makes it easy for users to participate in the governance of the blockchain to elect the delegates or witnesses they would love to have on the top witness.
