Introduction

My fellow steemians,
I am so delighted to be a part of these amazing program going on the steemit platform. Since these very program started I have really learnt a whole lot from the various professors. Sincerely this very program has help me to widen my knowledge on blockchain and crypto currency through the lectures delivered by the various professors and my research in carrying out the assignment task. Having attended the lecture delivered by our very own dear professor in the person of @alphafx, on the topic ''Trading and Holding - Two Sides of a Coin", I am happy to present my homework task here, this is to prove or indicate my level of understanding concerning the class held by the professor. Please read through as you can learn a bit and also contribute to what I have written so far.

Question 01

Do you hold any coins? Talk about the wallet type you prefer/would prefer holding in

As a newbie in the crypto currency world, I have successful been able to hold a very few coins for the past few months. Well, before I got to know about steemit where I can write good content and end reward in the form of crypto currency I have been buying and selling coins. That is, I try to buy when the price is less then sell it when the price increases.

The wallet type I prefer is mobile and desktop wallet. Well, these happens to be the most simple one I have ever came in contact with. More also most mobile and desktop wallet are also web based wallet. Presently, I use Roqqu both on the web and also as an application to hold my coins. The joy with Roqqu is that it can store a whole lot of coins. They wallet also stores fiat currencies and also allows transaction with other wallets and banks. This implies that users can perform more than one transaction on the wallet.

Question 02

With screenshots, show how to perform spot trading on any pair of your choice.

Well, due to the issue concerning the banned on crypto currency trading in my dear country Nigeria, I looked for another alternative to trade hence I came in contact with Binance as a wallet. On that note I will be using Binance to explain how to perform spot trading.

Here, you can swap between very coins. In my case I swap between steem and bitcoin. Then input the amont I want to buy or sell.

After that you can login to your wallet where you will have the option to either transfer, deposit or withdraw.

In the case of transfer, you can swap your coins from spot wallet to P2P and then trade using that medium.

And that solve how to trade on spot trading.

Question 03

Holding or trading, which do you prefer and why?

Well, personally if asked to choose between holding and trading, I will say both works hand in hand. People don't just trade without holding but for me I prefer holding coins. I have actually made a lot of gain from holding cryptocurrency. Example: Just about 2 weeks ago I was able to sell doge coins which I bought for about #24 each at the rate of #180 each. So you will agree with me that holding due needs perseverance but is actually a very good way of investment.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I want to say both holding and trading of crypto currency are very important. Which ever you as a person choose to get your selve involved in and it works for you then keep it on.
