Hello fellows. Hope everyone is well. I am highly honored to be a part of the steemit crypto academy. The feedback is a great opportunity for the student to share their thoughts about their working experience in the crypto academy. Though i do not consider myself enable to point out any fault in the work of the highly experienced people who are working for the growth of the community every day. Still i am going to do so because of the betterment of our beloved community. I am going to give the feedback on how the academy is doing. I will be very honest on the base of my observation.

My Journey in the Academy
I have been participating in the steemit crypto academy from season 4. The technology always amaze me. I always try to learn something new related to the technology and crypto world. The future is of the crypto so we all need to learn how to get the benefit from the crypto world. This quest of the crypto world made me to participate in the steemit crypto academy. I have participated in all the lecture for every professor in every week.
I am a student so this is very tough for me to manage time for the steemit platform from my busy schedule but still i try my best to give my full attention and time to this platform. I have learnt a lot from every professor and tried to give my best in every homework. I tried to share all my crypto knowledge for beneficiary of the fellows.
Note: All the points are based on my experience and observation. Anyone on this platform can disagree to them. These are just my observation and suggestions. You have the 100% right to disagree with any of the point.
What worked well with the Academy
The crypto academy' main purpose is to teach the student about the crypto technology. There are very hard working and highly experienced professor who are working to teach the users. They highlight multiple points every week related to the trading. Multiple steps has been taken into the academy which are excellent for the student to learn more in a healthy and comfortable environments. Some among them are as follow
- The main Purpose:
The academy was created to spread the crypto knowledge among its member. Each week, multiple courses are shared by the professor which enable the people learn more about the trading. The crypto academy has enable the people to trade in successful way. Those who did not know any thing about the crypto world are now expert because of participating the different level courses of the steemit crypto academy. The academy has achieved its goal successfully.
- No plagiarism:
The plagiarism is not tolerated in the academy. So the students work hard to produce the quality base work. They do the research on the topics by their own and then put their knowledge to answer the homework questions. This help the user to be more creative and promote the research culture too.
- Three Tier:
There are three different categories in which the homework tasks have been organized. This classification and organization of the homework in three tiers is excellent steps which have been taken by the team member. The lectures are share in each level according to the trader's skills and the user's abilities. The student learn in a sequence and systematic way. By participating in the particular level, the students are able to polish their trading skill and learn gradually.
- Advance topics:
The professors share the lectures every week in each tier as per the traders skills and knowledge. The topics are very advance and teach the traders something new about the crypto world. The lectures and the topics explained by the professors in each tier enable the traders to trade in successful way.
- Fixed Courses:
There are 10 fixed courses which have no expiry date. These courses are very excellent and the good step taken by the team. These courses build the roots of the crypto world in the user and user get the basic knowledge about the crypto world from these lectures. The student knowledge about the crypto world get improve and polish. They become enable to built their reputation and SP to participate in the three tiers of the crypto academy.
- Reward
There are three different tiers in the crypto academy and the grading of the reward is according to each level. This system of the reward encourage the student to participate in the next level and to learn & earn more. The more quality based work, the high grade they will gain. The higher the grade, the more the reward. So this system also helpful to enhance and improve the quality of the tasks submitted by the users. There was a time when the tasks were rewarded by the curator randomly. But now the things get smooth. The tasks first are graded. Then the curator do the vote according to the grades.
- More tasks, More earning:
There are multiple tasks in each tier which encourage the student to work hard to earn and learn more. The students give their best to participate in more assignments to get the high reward and to learn more trading skills.
What did not work well
- Strict Rules:
There are some new rules which have been introduced n the academy like RP, SP, #club5050. These rules are so strict that the number of the participants are decreasing rapidly in the academy. The students required minimum 150 SP and the 50 RP to participate in the fixed courses. Then they need to have 300 SP and 55 RP to participate in the beginner level courses. Then 65 RP is require to participate in the advanced level courses. I think this is very tough for someone to achieve this much RP. There should be leniency in the RP requirement.
Moreover, the #club5050 is the major hurdle. I am supporting the #club100. But i think that this rule is not easy for all to follow because of which, the students are not enable to participate in the homework. Instead for making its compulsory to follow, it should be optional. The student who will follow the #club5050 should be rewarded additionally. And those who do not follow should be disqualified but should be rewarded comparatively low.
- Lack of organization
Sometime, it seems that there is no proper organization and management in the academy. Like the things are so messy. This is not easy for the students to compile and integrate the concepts. For example, when the professor share the lecture on some indicator, instead of explaining the price strategy and action in the market properly, they move toward the indicator working and implementation. Moreover, their is also low management in the curation of the posts. Sometime, the posts get expired without getting the curator vote. I also have ben observed that when the student repost their post, the curator vote is not according to the student's grade.
- Sometime, the post get disqualified
Sometime, the professor disqualify the post when they do not get meet to the professors standard. The disqualification of the post is actually the discouragement of the student. The student get disappointment because he/she have spent much time in doing the the homework task. Instead of curating Zero, the curators should also curate with some reward to those posts who are graded with 4 mark.
- Lengthy Homework/ High investment/
There are some assignments where the professor ask much questions as compare to the level reward. The students need to answer all those question. Sometime the screen shorts are also required in some questions which make the assignment more lengthy and sometime, it become toxic too.
- Real Trades
There are some homework where the students are ask to show perform the real trades and to show the screen shorts of the trading. They need to invest a specific amount. Sometime, the amount is so heavy that many of the students are fail to perform the tasks. Sometime, the students are required to download some specific application which is ban/not available in some area or region. Because of which, the students cannot do the homework tasks.
- Deprivation of Reward
The advance level users are allowed to participate in all level tasks. They perform more good and get high grade. They get good reward and sometime selected as the best post of the week and superstar of the season. The students of the beginners level level get deprived. The real deserving for the beginner level are those who have the Reputation less than 60. They should be more focused and this level shouldn't be disturbed by the advance level users.
- The students are not answered in satisfactory way
Sometime, the students sometime are not clear about sometime ask in the homework. In case of asking the question, they do not get the reply on the time. Sometime, it happen that the professor reply late and the task get expire till then. Even sometime, the professor provide the solution which do not satisfy the student. Most of the students complaints are not even answered.
- Sometime the users are not curated as per grading
Sometime, the curator do not vote user's post as per the grading. I think, the student with high reputation are favored more. For example, if the student with 61 RP have got 7 marks on the post and a user with 70RP have got 7 marks on the same post, the user with high RP will be rewarded more as compare to the user with low RP.
How you would improve the Academy ? What changes would you make for future seasons of the Academy?
- Reduce the SP for the entry in the academy
First of all, i will start from the initial level. I would first reduce the steem power which is required for entering into the academy. Currently, the minimum steem power required for entering into the academy is 150. I would reduce it to 100 so that it become more easy for the beginners to enter into the academy.
- The high level users should not be weekly rewarded in lower level
The high level users would be able to participate in the lower level courses but they should not be weekly rewarded in the lower level. The lower level students would be mainly focused in the beginner level courses.
- Reduce the RP Requirement
The RP requirement for the advance level courses should be low. It should be 62+ instead of 65+. This is very tough for the student to reach the 65 RP. So the advance level RP should be reduce from 65 to 62.
I would like to make the #club5005 optional instead of compulsory. The student who will follow the #club5005 will be rewarded extra. But those who do not follow the rule should not be disqualified.
- Curate post on time
I would like to curate the graded post on time.
- Low interaction
The basic purpose of the steemit platform is to provide a healthy environment for the people to interact with each other. But here, the people are so busy in posting their content that they do not read and comment the other's posts. The people who do the quality based comments on other work should be encourage. This would help to increase the interaction between the users on the platform/
- Extra Reward
The student who support the #club75 or #club100 should be rewarded extra. This will encourage the other more to support the next level club. This is equally beneficial for the growth of the community.
- More task per week
There are 2 task in each tier every week. Some task among them are such that the users are not able to perform some of the homework task because of the high investment, hardware requirement or extra length. So the number of the task per week in each level should be increased from 2 to 3. The students will be able to perform the homework which is easy for them. The interest rate will be increase.
- Curate Fairly
I would curate the post on the base of grades fairly for the smoothness of the system. This will encourage the student to give their 100% because they would know that they will curate accordingly.
What did you think of the marking scheme for Academy posts? And the rewards available?
The grading scheme is an excellent step which has been taken in the academy. This great initiative encourage the student to give their 100% and to get the good grades. The high graded posts are rewarded highly. Instead of curating the posts randomly, the curators votes the posts on the base of the grades. Thus the users try to their best to earn more. But grading is not systematic and organized in the academy.
The professors have their own criteria to check the homework. They have set their own criteria according to which, they grade the students. There is no fix standard to check the homework. There should be clear points and areas on the base of which, the professor check the homework task. This will help the students to get more clear about how their assignments are being graded.
Moreover, the students are are marked less than 5 should also be curated to some extent. Not very high, but these posts should also be voted just for encouragement. The disqualification and rejection disappoint the students badly.
The professor should also mention the number with each question while posting the homework. This will help the users to get clear how much they should write. Mean the question with 2 mark should not be explained so much. And they will focus more on the question with 3 or 4 or 5 mark.
Enjoy, Learning, Inspiration from academy.
I am now a good trader. I have invested more than 1000$ in different coin using the knowledge which i have gained from the crypto academy. I have enjoyed what i have taught from the academy. This knowledge helped me to make my trading journey smooth and successful. I have learned about multiple indicators and the strategies which helped me to analyze the market. The analysis and the strategies made my trading profitable.
I did not know anything about the crypto world before joining the crypto academy. I was just familiar with the name of some coins. But now i can say that i have much knowledge about different areas of the crypto world. All thanks to the crypto academy. I am enjoying the knowledge and information which i am gaining for this platform.
Has the Academy inspired you to continue learning more about crypto subjects? If so, how and where have you extended your crypto learning?
The crypto academy has inspired me alot to learn more about the crypto world. This world is just a magical place for the experienced and skilled ones. I have made the profit by investing in different coins and still investing to earn more. Currently, the market is crash and i am now planning to invest in bitcoin and to hold for long till price rise up again so that i can earn high profit. I have earned more than 150k PKE till now. All thanks and credit goes to the steemit crypto academy and the professors. I did not know any thing about the crypto world before this. I was just heard some names of the coins like BTC, ETH, LTC, but now, i am trading practically and making profit.
Conclusion
The steemit crypto academy is a great platform to teach the student more about the crypto world. The crypto world is the future and one cannot be successful without learning usage this technology. The crypto academy is spreading the treasure of knowledge to teach the people to perform the real trading. I want to learn more in the up coming seasons to become more expert in the crypto world.
