Greetings to all steemians i hope you are having a good day. As you may have fetched from the heading i am here to post my homework given by @sapwood . I would try my best to be a good student just like i am in university 🙂. So let's begin our task :
(1) What is PoB? What does curation mean to you in Steem Blockchain? What are the benefits of building SP? How do you explain self-upvote as a good or bad social behavior & why? It is short form of proof of brain . Let's try to understand why it is so. Actually as told in lesson steeemit is decentralised So each peer is empowered and here the power or influence is decided by the steem power Sp you hold. So having right anyone can rate the content according to his own analysis. And this rating is in the form of upvote , downvote , resteem , replies . As you do all this according to your analysis using your own brain so it is called PoB ( proof of brain ). Anyone can rate the content but his influence is decided by the Sp he own.
what does curation mean to you in Steemit blockchain ?
I found this question very interesting because before the lecture i thought that curation is just voting up or down but now i have learnt that it is quite different . Actually curation isn't not just about voting up or down but it include many things.
So it was all about curation.now let's move to next part ;
What are the benefits of building SP?
You can say that SP is the spinal cord of your account on steemit . The more Sp you have the more stronger your account is. More Stronger means that you would have more influence . So the benefits are
- More influence
- Your vote worth would increase so you can encourage the hardworking content creators.
- Inverse to above you can downvote the content that is harmful for community or plateform . Voting down is not suggested but sometime you need it in some situations.
- By voting up you would also get curation Rewards and they would be larger if you have more sp.
- Holding Sp would be beneficial for pool and hence for Steemit so in this way you support it. It helps a lot in promoting the deserved content on steemit.
So these were the benefits of holding Sp. Now let's move to next .
How do you explain self-upvote as a good or bad social behavior & why?
Actually i feel guilty while answering it 😅 because i myself used to upvote my posts as a beginner but now i support the fact that we shouldn't upvote our own post . Because voting is actually a ability to rate the work according to our own analysis and it is ridiculous to analyse and rate own work .
It is obvious that you can add some bucks into your reward by voting your own content but it is injustice to the quality content creators because you wasted your power by voting yourself but you could have used it to support any amazing content . So that was the reason for my statement against voting own content but you can have different opinion because everybody has its own opinion.

I have already used coinmarketcap.com when my friend told me about it. Its very helpful to check prises and track the ups and down and many more.

The rank is mentioned just below the left corner when you open it . At this time the rank of steem is #195 as shown in Screenshot.
- Steem price :
It enables you to check the latest price. It is updated by each moment and you can check it refreshing each time .Here in the screenshot the price is mentioned in dollars.
- Market :
Here you can check the market of steem. The various platforms where you can trade for steem would be shown and top of them is binance. I myself use binance for trading. The different exchanges are available where you can trade for different tokens like bitcoin , Ethereum etc as shown in Screenshot below :

What are the different tokens do you earn by socializing in Steem Blockchain?
trx is the main native coin of the Tron blockchain and we get it along with our posts just like a airdrop . The value of trx is currently not much higher comparing to other coins but it is very efficient when we take details like formation of blocks , and its blockchain into account . To get them into wallet you can connect your tron wallet with it and they can be transferred and exchanged in market just like other coins. This was the coin that i directly get when getting reward on steemit.
- There are some coins like Elon green coin about which i came to know after socializing on steemit when i joined the discord channels of Community owners .
- After socializing you also get to know about the market trends of different markets and can use them later for personal experiences.
