STEEM CRYPTO ACADEMY WEEK 7 HOMEWORK POST FOR @besticofinder; CRYPTOCURRENCY INVESTMENTS – COMPARISON BETWEEN KCS and SWAP

in SteemitCryptoAcademy3 years ago

Hello professor @besticofinder, thank you for the lesson and another opportunity to learn more about Cryptocurrency investment.

I am one of those who have been contemplating when it comes to the cryptocurrencies to invest in. My interest has always been on SWAP and KuCoin token (KCS), hence I will be comparing the two coins and then drawing a conclusion as well.

INTRODUCTION

Cryptocurrency market is indeed a volatile one and so, one has to be careful with the analysis before jumping on any investment. There are certain degrees of risk involved in every investment.

Taking a look at the two crypto coins selected above; SWAP and KCS, they fall into the small-cap assets as they both have a market capitalization below $1 billion. Now let's look into the comparison.

KuCoin Token (KCS)

KCS is a KuCoin token Launched in 2017. It is an ERC-20 token that gives users of the exchange some values. For thise holding over 6 KCS, 50% of the trading fee is given as dividend to such users. This makes it a unique and a great way for new investors to earn additional income.

Liquidity: SWAP can easily be traded on top exchanges like CoinTiger, BitMart, Mxc.COM, Gate.io, Bitmax, etc.

Market rank: 140
24 hour Trading volume: $5,987,267.99
Market dominance: 0.02%
Circulating supply: 100,000,000 SWAP coins.

My opinion:

Looking at the two coins above based on the comparison, Both coins have a high degree of risk and also a probable high degree of return. Investing in any of them would not be a bad idea as far as the investor is a risk retender. For me, I'd go for KCS because of its dividend payment, liquidity and high circulating supply. The market capitalization is also reasonably good.
More so, it is also easy to read and understand the project white paper which is very important.

CONCLUSION

Investments in Cryptocurrency emphasizes more on risk due to the volatile nature of such investments. Hence it is left for the investor to decide whether or not to venture into such investments. High risks attract high return. So, the decision I made above doesn't mean there is no risk in the coin I selected. It is strictly choice.

Therefore, it is worthy of note that this post is not an investment advice.
Thank you so much for having me here. I appreciate!
