Steemit Crypto Academy | Summary On Homework Task- Week 7
Background
The Homework task week-7 draws to a close on 28th Mar 2021. During the last seven days, we witnessed as many as 63 entries in Steem Blockchain, Week-7.
I would like to congratulate all who participated and submitted their assignments during this week.
This week we covered-- the Importance of building SP, Recovery Account, Encrypted messages & Memo key. I hope you all now have better insight into the supply dynamics of STEEM and how important it is to build your SP now.
Those who participated this week in Homework Task-7 have an informed choice now to build SP. Those who strategize with the long-term objectives can potentially become orcas, whales over the next 10 years. Higher SP will also generate passive rewards.
The Steem Blockchain venerates choice, but always on the promissory note of an informed choice. That's also the objective of Steemit Crypto Academy.
Steemit Crypto Academy is helping you all to bridge the gap between concept and gaining experience, particularly for naive users; thereby inducing practical intelligence. The tasks are designed & structured in a way to make you familiar with real-life scenarios. By partaking in such challenges you always have first-hand information & experience.
I hope Week 7 was productive, persuasive, informative, and educative for you all & relevant to your day to day endeavor in Steem Blockchain.
So I would like to convey my gratitude to the Steemit Team for coming up with such an idea and organizing a team for that cause, fostering crypto literacy.
In the last seven days, I have visited all the posts that have been submitted with the correct tag( #sapwood-week7, #cryptoacademy). So I would request all the participants to make sure that they use the correct tags and that should be among the first five tags. And also make sure you post in the Steemit Crypto Academy community.
Observation & Thoughts
We found 63 entries in the last seven days(Week-7). I have visited them all. 95% of them were original content whereas 5% were spun/plagiarized.
Unfortunately, some users are still publishing spun/plagiarized content. I would request all of them to follow the path of hard work and be a part of the process, the reward will mature at some point.
I would also like to request all of you improve the overall quality of the content whatever you write, try to make it a little more organized, it's a continuous process and that also instills a sense of confidence as a professional blogger, and it is rewarding too.
Before hitting the submit button, please read it at least once. Proof-reading is necessary.
In Homework Task Week 7, some users have really done proper homework in line with the task requirement, while a few did not even choose to include the screenshots of their own profile(when it was a requirement in the sub-part--recovery account). If you include a screenshot(to indicate your recovery account), if you experience sending an encrypted message to another, your approach from theory to practice gets unified, you will become familiar with the use-case, which always builds confidence and develops a better relationship with a Blockchain. So I would request all of you to become a part of this process.
Always remember that user experience unifies the approach from concept to clarification. We have already completed 3 weeks now on Steem Blockchain covering important topics like Curation, PoB, Convergent Linear Reward, Importance of building SP, Recovery account, Encrypted message. I am sure you all are now better informed and educated.
The level of engagement is very poor. We want our participants to visit other's posts and produce insightful comments, make it an interactive session. At present only the professor is interacting with the participants. The student-to-student interaction is missing. We can't build an interconnected web and better content discovery without engagement. I request all of you to visit other's posts.
Always try to be precise & make your approach straight to the point, make it less noisy. If the tasks demand the screenshot of your own profile and/or user-experience, do include that. That way you can score better.
Further, always pay attention to the grammar/spelling, proper formatting, use of markdown styling to represent it in a professional way, which always attracts the attention of the reader/curator. If you do that on a day-to-day basis you also evolve as a professional blogger in the long run.
I would also suggest all the participants use the Grammarly app for proof-reading.
Statistics & Evaluation
Here is the stat of the 63 entries in Homework Task Week-7
Total Entries- Posts published in "Steemit Crypto Academy community" with tag #sapwood-week7
Plagiarism/Spun Content- Stealing other's text/screenshot and representing as if it is their own content. Using spinning tools & paraphrasing the texts of another post.
Valid Entries- Valid Entries= Total Entries- Plagiarized/spun content
I have evaluated all the entries on the basis of the following parameters:-
- Proper representation of a task
- Whether covered all the sub-parts of an assignment or not
- Proper formating
- True representation of the text/subject(with illustration/screenshot)
- Grammar/Spelling
- Free of Spam/Plagiarism.
- Adhering to the laid rules or not
- Proof-Reading
- Original content
Of the 63 entries, I found the following three as the best entries this week.
S No | Author | Post Link | Remarks |
---|---|---|---|
1 | @hadassah26 | Link | The author has clearly demonstrated the difficulty level to earn STEEM from 2031 onwards from the PoB reward pool |
2 | @tht | Link | The author has done the homework in line with the task requirement, particularly in the context of the recovery account & Memo key. |
3 | @jehoshua-shey | Link | An organized article produced by the author, demonstrated the use-case of sending an encrypted message in Steem Blockchain with clarity and proper explanation. |
NB- Selection of a winner may not be absolute, most of the time, it is based on the relative performance. As long as you focus on all the sub-parts of Homework Task and gain sufficient user-experience, you stand better to win it every week. This week 4 out of 63 authors have scored 9, and we had to shortlist the top 3 out of the 4.
Conclusion
We all are committed to creating an enriched communication environment, organizational interactions, etc which is a precursor to building a foundation of crypto literacy. The right information and education should percolate down the line and the PoB will come along to reward you(extrinsic motivation).
We will try our best to structure a task to draw real-life experiences for you, to motivate you for sustained attention to the task/academy. Healthy participation and effective discussion are key to the overall success of the crypto academy.
We will also try our best to reinforce the principle of collectivism through the crypto academy.
The crypto academy is also an avenue to learn to reason and to find & explore the passions and talents of the users in this ecosystem.
Gain as much user experience as you can. But always be your own. Don't hesitate to write what you have understood(even if you are wrong), We will take care of corrections if needed.
The take-home message-- Develop a relationship with dApp(or as the Task demands), Learn, Experience, Submit your assignment. This is the ideal path to economic advantage(upvote) & crypto literacy.
Thank you.
