Market Value To Realized Value (MVRV) ratio focuses on the difference between the Market Capital and Realized Capital like Market Capital / Realized Capital, accordingly helps to find the market top and bottom levels.

MVRV is simply the ratio of Market Cap to Realized Cap.

Spent Output Profit Ratio (SOPR) is calculated by dividing the difference between the currency value at the moment of when the coin last moved as per UTXO generation and the currency value when the UTXO is spent by the period considered like daily, hourly.

It is not the difference between the two. It is simply the ratio of spent value to the price paid.

According to the indicator of Relative Unrealized Profit/Loss, investors should book profit at the top level and wait for the bottom level to re-enter the market. According to this, we can see how the asset price reacting to the market as per the indicator of Relative Unrealized Profit/Loss.

RUPL is mostly used for the Bull and Bear cycle. So it is ideal for long-term purposes and for Hodlers. So unlike other relatively short-term indicators like MVRV, we can not use it in the same way. Please note that MVRV is also not meant for day trading, however, we can use it suitably within the Bull or Bear cycle.

Observation/Suggestion/Feedback:-

• The author has demonstrated & analyzed the on-chain metrics wrt price action of BTC.
• The author has used LookintoBitcoin and Glassnode to analyze the price trend in BTC wrt various on-chain metrics viz RUPL, SOPR, etc.
• Practical example using Block Explorer to explain the realized cap would have done justice to this Task. Particularly you should explore an unspent output and spent output and their date and should calculate the SOPR.
• Quality of Analysis could have been much better with an analytical approach.
• Pay attention to the correction as indicated.
