Here @crypto-academy, we had a great opportunity to be taught by @sapwood on the title that centered mostly on blockchain wallet. It was an interesting class where I learnt a lot and also have an opportunity to participate in this homework as stipulated on my titlepage.

Cryptocurrencies can be store and trade in volume as held in a decentralized and digital ledger that is called the blockchain wallet or cryptocurrency wallet. In this ledger, All the financial transactions are immutably recorded and are found at blockchain visibly to all. It facilitates the use case of financial transaction between the users in this distributed network. To access every blockchain wallet or ledger where every financial transactions are recorded, we use blockchain explorer.

HOW DO I FIND THE BLOCK EXPLORER OF ANY BLOCKCHAIN?

Here in Nigeria, I use Roqqu site to list all explorers. In the picture of my wallet above, there are BTC for Bitcoin, ETH for Ethereum LTE for Litecoin etc. There are still many other like Tronscan that show token on Tron.

HOW DO I CHECK THE NUMBER OF CONFIRMATIONS?

This Tronscan explorer will inform me the status of all transactions: when your transaction has been confirmed, that is to say included in a block, it will display the transaction that is pending, which is yet confirmed as seen in the picture above. It also show the total number of confirmations as well as the height of the block, namely its number in chain.

HOW DO I FIND THE TRANSACTION HASH,SENDER ADDRESS, RECEIVER'S ADDRESS, NETWORK FEES OF A PARTICULAR TRANSACTION?

A block explorer is very helpful and not only allows access to get details about an address. it also allows you to access information about a transaction. In picture above, each transaction is linked to its cryptographic hash, which is called an identifier. This identifier is a string of 64 hexadecimal characters which allows this transaction to be found.

In the tronscan as an explorer, This identity to be able to access the transaction. In the picture above, the reception transaction is the one with the identifier with the name of the main chain: sammylinks20.

How do I check whether a wallet address is valid for a network or not(using Block explorer)?

In this explorer above, the address is not valid and the account cannot be accessed.

In the picture 2 above, the address or identifier: TUQHzAi1m182rDaYYEDSr2MwhkmWipPFZg is valid and informations of the account can be accessed too.

CONCLUSION

Blockchain wallets will be nothing without explorers which reveals all the vital information concerned the wallet to the public. Everyone can freely access to them and help a lot in transactions.
