I'm very happy for you, my seasoned crypto-professor @yousafharoonkhan for this wonderful opportunity and lecture which is always simple and easy to understand and this week's lecture focused on "Centralized and Decentralized social media platform" and advantages and disadvantages therein. I'm glad of answering these questions:

• Define in your words, centralized and decentralized social media. State the difference between centralized and decentralized social media platforms?
• Which one is the future of the social media platform? Centralized or Decentralized social media platforms!
• How the steemit decentralized social media platform better than Twitter and Facebook?

SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.

Globalization and civilization have make the world wide a global village. Everyone can interact with others no matter where they are with very ease. Old friends and family that separated by distances or any unknown circumstances have become very closer now due the importance of social media.
The term "social" refers to interaction, communication and integration of people into groups, societies and communities like family, friends, lovers etc while the "media" is the channel, path and mode through which these unique communication is carried out. Terminology, Social media simply refers to the coming closer of people of different age, gender, ethnic etc through a dedicated path or platform. The constant communication that's observable through this various media helps to promote education and enlightenment between them. Nobody can really stay on its own! So social media platform help to bring everyone very closer and interaction between them closely and digitally.

However, this social media platforms comes in two separate forms. They are:

• Centralized Social media platform
• Decentralized Social media platform.

CENTRALIZED SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

In Centralized social media platform, there is a central organizations or company that's in charge of the interaction between people on their platforms. There's a dedicated "middlemen" who is in control of the data and the profiles of several users of their platforms.

Although, the users of such platform can create their accounts with this platform freely and build the contents entirely from their efforts but at the mercy of the those " tech gurus" that's supervising the platform and control it's content by the set out rules and regulations.

In terms of marketing and advertising, the huge number of users on Centralized social media platform served as a good marketing space but it's not absolutely free. The users of these platforms although on their personal account can't be freely to trade, market or advertising for their goods, services and arts. And those platforms and the owners of those platforms can't rewards it's users although being the backbone of those platforms.

In term of security, there are insinuations and charges of those platforms "selling" their data to prospective leaders of economy, political bodies and technological companies to get to more people. There are serious challenges of hacking of data of users, not for positive reasons but evil purposes. There are many famous social media platforms in the world now. They are Facebook, TWITTER, Instagram etc.

DECENTRALIZED SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

Although in terms of roles that both of them played is the same, Decentralized social media platform is just the opposite of all the characteristics of Centralized social media platforms.

The term "Decentralized" simply means that there's no central authority behind the supervision and management of various personal accounts of their users. Although this platform is owned but the contents creation and control of the accounts and profiles of users are in the hands of users. Here, the validators in this platform are for rewarding the users and promote very good content creation.

Creation of accounts are absolutely free. To promote and enjoy this unique platform is very free. In terms of trade, marketing and advertising, it's absolutely on the user's discretion and control. The contents creation must be based free from plagiarism and full of lessons for upliftment and enlightenment.

In terms of security, the data of the users are highly protected. The accounts and wallets are safe and protected by a strong passwords generated in which the user's can't even grasp easily talkless of others. Hacking is very rare and personal data are not used anywhere as it's exclusively in @steemit. It comes in form of @steemexculsive.

Decentralized social media platform is the future of the social media platform. So Decentralized social media platform really provide this innovative means of communication that's futuristic and sustainable based on the efforts used are rewarded.

The famous centralized social media platforms in the world is Facebook and Twitter. Facebook and Twitter have a huge number of users and their reach is worldwide. In these platforms, marketing and advertising of goods, services and arts can attract a lot of people that's already on this platform. In these platforms, leaders can makes comments that will reach a lot of people. There's no rewarding system for their users and hacking of their data.

Steemit remains the wonderful things that happened to me personally. I engaged fully with only three objectives. These two objectives can't be derived from any other social media platforms. They are:

• To meet great people, as social media platforms helps to bring people together so have @steemit had helped me a lot to connect with great minds and the list is endless. They have impacted positively to my life and helped me in so many ways possible. They includes @yousafharoonkhan, @kouba01, @gbegba, @besticofinder, @whitestallion, @sapwood, @ngoenyi, @bright-obias, @focusnow, @tmighty, @stephenkendal, @steemcurator01 etc. I have been to mentored many @newbies here too.
• To be enlightened, through this wonderful platform, I have been educated and enlightening in so many ways possible. My technical skills on how best to use my phone and other gadgets professionally, how to manage my life and earth around us via @steemgeography, how to cook and sample recipes for various dishes via @steemfoods, how to be freelance writer via #ccc, how to tabulate and record daily my life activities via @steemalive, the current market value of crypto-currencies and news via @steemnews, what is crypto currencies, exchanges, technical skills and trading via @cryptoacademy etc.
• To make money, through good curation from the @steemcurator01, @steemcurator02, @booming01, @booming02 and @steemcurators for great content created by me that's free from plagiarism as the fight for this evil seriously conducted by everyone but especially @endplagiarism have really make my bank accounts smiles many times. I have been to carry out projects that will promote @steemit from those funds and it have help me to be active socially here because it has helped me to solve those challenges of third world like little or no electricity, high cost of data, better electronic gadgets for this course too.

HOW CAN WE MAKE MONEY WITH THE STEEMIT?

A good business once taught me that to make money, one have to invest time, efforts and money properly. In steemit, it is the same. A good steemians invest huge amount of Fiat currency or equivalent of $steem in other crypto currencies to power up their steem power first, a wallet with huge steem power makes more from curation trails than one with little steem power.

However, time is of great essence in using steemit. To make post cost some times and other great services of steemit. The more meaningful time spent, the more money, the steemians will makes.

It takes great efforts/data on the good steemit usage. Such great efforts are needed to make wonderful articles and a good articles attract huge profits.

Communities on social media platforms like steemit helps a lot and brings great organization as things/blog/post of the same kind are dedicated on that community and same with people of the same thinking. Although one is liable to join as many communities on steemit as he/she likes and can publish his/her posts on any communities. But the existence of various communities makes the platform active.

One major criteria for creating a community on steemit is that the "Creator" must have at least 3 steem and must be active regularly to promote the community.

There are steps to create a community. Before that, one have to think of the name for the new community. Here, the name will be "Jokes and Weird News" These are the steps and practically follow these screenshoted pictures too

• Click on Explore the communities

This action will provide the opportunity to create a new community.

• Create on Create a communities

This action will lead to a dialogue pages.

• On this dialogue page, write the TITLE and The description.

After providing the details of the community to be created. Click on next on the pages

• The authenticity of the owner of the community and passwords needed to secure the community.

Another page too.

Click on the SIGN Up to create the community.

• On this page, the owner have to pay 3 steem for the creation of the community.

Click on the Ok means that the new community have been created and ready to be used.
