Greetings brother, first thank you for the invitation so I don't miss out on this.
Plasmas chain help in scalability of the blockchain by diverting a significant portion of transactions to plasma chains, hence the main blockchain experiences less congestion, leading to improved network performance and reduced transaction fees.
I must say I'd no idea about the implementation of Plasma Chains to the Steem Blockchain, therefore I will say I have learned something new today. Thank you and all the best.
