Yo. Blockchain technology consumes a lot of power due to mining activities. This leads to increase in energy cost and it is not good for the environment.

The high consumption of energy has always been an issue with miners. I think this was the reason why Musk decided to halt payment of btc for his Tesla card because he claimed to be concerned about the environmental harm mining of crypto is causing.

Most hospitals still make use of paper files which can be easily stolen or destroyed this exposing private informations of patients that was given in confidentiality

With the issue of confidentiality I don’t see how the blockchain can prevent that as everyone can see what is happening on the blockchain.

With the case of the files and folders being destroyed, the blockchain I think is the best solution to that as a file or folder stored on the blockchain will be kept there forever and can be gotten back when needed.
