Hmmm🤔, I might have to argue with this statement that you made. One currency which is the cryptocurrency?
Is the traditional currency that we use not called money which is also one currency?
If you say one cryptocurrency then I believe that should be either btc or eth or any other coin but that not the case as we have a lot of the currencies.
Coming down to our countries today, elections can be done with the use of blockchain technology to arrive at a very free and fair ending.
I like the use case of the blockchain here and I always wonder why countries are not adapting it yet.
Another thing that has hindered the acceptance or adoption of blockchain technology is the irreversible nature of transactions.
At first a lot of people thought transactions on the blockchain could not be reversed but we are seeing it in the NFT world where a stolen NfT can be frozen from making a sale and then retured to the owner.
Even recently I read somewhere; a user sent an amount of eth to a wrong address and it was recovered for him when he thought all hopes were lost.

I think you got me wrong here. When i say one currency i mean all the globe accepting steem as a crypto and btc as a crypto as well. Can you make use of your native token outside your country? But you can use the steem and btc token anywhere around the world.
Here also i think you got my explanation wrong, about a year ago when the TRX was integrated to the steemit platform, some of us already have account before the integration and when it came we have to generate keys to enable us transact the TRX. I misplaced my key and i lost about 1k TRX because of the key, i have to change it because all the TRX i was earning was still going to the account. Till this day i am seeing the TRX in the address without having access to it.

Yes I know of this. A friend of mine lost his trx keys too and he didn’t change them early so he has lost all the trx that were on that particular account.
With he recovery of assets, not all blockchains were built that way cause it will end up spoiling the true values of the blockchain.
But I know of one who did it successfully and sometimes in NFT spaces it happens too.
