This is not true. The wick represent the areas price travel but didn't close.

Another aspect that we can focus on when understanding Japanese candles is that their orientation, if it is green, we already know that the opening price is located on the wick located at the bottom,

This is not correct. The color is there to differentiate the bullish candle and the bearish candle.
