Greetings dear friends, today we have attended the spot trade class, we are going to carry out the task that the teacher @besticofinder sends us which consists of:

You need to do your own research and create an article discussing following topics,
(1) Explain Spot Trading and Margin Trading
(2) Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Spot Trading and Margin Trading

Margin trading

I must say that it was difficult for me to understand this concept but finally I have, it turns out that there are exchanges that give you an option that in my opinion is risky but in the world of trading while the operation is more risky, if it is successful the profit is greater Well, margin trading consists of having a collateral, which is the guarantee of the investment and then you select the amount of margin you want to invest, for example if you want a margin of 10 x with a collateral of 0.1 BTC something like this would happen .

We want to make a Long of BTC with a margin of 10x and our collateral is 0.1 BTC, a long is to bet that the price of BTC rises then the Exchange will lend us 0.9 BTC. So far everything very well has started our trading if the price of BTC rises as we predicted, everything is fine at any time you can sell that 1 BTC and return the borrowed figure to the Exchange and the difference will be your profit. What is important to understand is when the BTC goes down to what point it can go down so that you lose the investment.

We already know that our guarantee is 0.1 BTC and that represents 10% of the value of BTC, so if the price of BTC falls by 10% the operation is closed and the Exchange keeps your guarantee of 0.1 BTC. Although the amounts are really tighter since the exchange commissions must be included so it will be a little more than 9%, this is risky but if you manage to correctly predict the price of the cryptocurrency you can really have a significant profit.

Spot trading

It is the most used trade, we would say that it is the normal one, the classic one where you buy a currency and wait for it to rise, in this type of trade you buy with your fiat money and acquire a cryptocurrency, which you will then sell if the currency rises in value you win money and if it goes down in value you lose money.

Advantages and disadvantages between margin trading and spot trading.

It turns out that in spot trading you own the currency in its entirety, to lose all the money invested, the cryptocurrency you bought would have to reach 0 but in turn, for you to earn more money, it would have to go up in value much more, instead In margin trading if you manage to correctly predict the profits they can be astronomical while if you are wrong it is very likely that you will lose all your investment quickly, we will explain with an example.

If we have 0.1 BTC at a price of 50 thousand dollars we have 5 thousand dollars in BTC if we use spot trading we have our cryptocurrency and to get to have 10 thousand dollars of BTC we need the BTC to rise by 100%, to lose our investment would have the BTC reach 0 which is quite unlikely, however if we decide to risk and enter the world of margin trading, we must put our 0.1 BTC as collateral, as backup, and if we decide to have a margin of 10x the Exchange will lend us 0.9 BTC if the price rises 20% we earn too much because the BTC would cost 60 thousand dollars you sell it you return the money to the Exchange which would be the 0.9 that I lend you and you would earn 10 thousand dollars, just with a 20% increase in the price, however if it falls 10% you lose your total support, it is risky but it is worth trying.

You need to do your own research and create an article discussing following topics,
(1) Explain Spot Trading and Margin Trading
(2) Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Spot Trading and Margin Trading
