PROOF OF BRAIN (PoB)

PoB helps in the process of distributing and redistributing of rewards from Reward Pool to Authors and Curators.

Basically it is done by upvoting and downvoting. Where the value of your reward depends on your steem power. The higher your steem power, the more reward you earn and the lower your steem power, the less reward you earn.

In short, PoB is the reward pool, decisions made according to the quality of the content and the influence of steem power.

CURATION

Curation basically Means Upvoting or Downvoting an Author's article or work in accordance with a particular set of rules.
To make curation accomplished, there should be curators, to upvote on quality contents and also downvote and report plagiarized contents to maintain clarity and help achieve steemit aim on plagiarism.

The value of curation depends on the influence of Steem Power of the curator and Voting time after the article has ben published. But both the curator and the author get benefits from the curation. The curator must read the post well and get the main idea before upvoting on the content or article.

BENEFITS OF BUILDING SP

Steem Power (SP) is an important factor to help one stay on Steemit platform. As a beginner on Steemit platform, you should try as much as possible to increase your SP, Because there are several benefits of building SP, but below shows few of them;

• Steem power helps one to create several contents or post within one day. Thus when you have adequate steem power.

• An adequate steem power increases the value of your curation rewards.

• With adequate or high steem power one can support the steemit ecosystem to be more stable, when he or she deposit steem for other exchanges.

• Adequate or high steem power attracts more followers to your account, since you have higher vote value.

SELF-UPVOTE

Self upvote is the situation where by one upvote on his or her own content. Basically self upvote is a bad practice on steemit ecosystem, because before you can upvote on a content, you need to read through to get the main idea and also check its quality before you upvote.

Moreover, curating other people's content, makes us play the role of curator and creating our own content makes us play the role authors, which we can't upvote for ourselves again, because we can't perform two task at the same time.
In short, upvote is 100% bad practice, and affect PoB system negatively, which steemit platform does not encourage.

Steem Power: is earned as a reward for posting good contents in steem blockchain, which is very essential in the steemit blockchain.

Steem: is the major tradeable cryptocurrency in steemit ecosystem and uses coin in powering up process and share with others and exchange.

SBD: is another cryptocurrency in steemit , that helps to keep the value of Steem. We earn this token as a reward for posting good content and convert this token in to steem by trading.

TRX: is famous cryptocurrency within several exchanges. TRX reward is in the ratio form, where 10 TRX is 1:1.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, it clearly indicates that steemit ecosystem does not encourage self-upvote, and so i suggest we put stop to that, since the see's it as a bad practice.
