Assignment:
Give a detailed comparison between two blockchain platforms of your choice.
Before I go into the comparison of the two Blockchains I have in mind, I will like us to refresh our memory on what Blockchain actually is.
BLOCKCHAIN
Blockchain is a digital ledger that stores and duplicate records of transactions which are shared across the entire network of computer systems on that Blockchain.
The reason why Blockchain stores, duplicate and share this information, it is because by doing this, it makes it nearly impossible or even impossible to cheat, change or hack the system and also for accountability and transparency purpose.
So the two Blockchains I will be writing about are;
Ethereum Blockchain
Tron Blockchain
ETHEREUM BLOCKCHAIN
This is an open-source decentralized Blockchain which includes smart contract functionality.
On the 19th December 2016 Ethereum exceeded one million transactions in a day making it the most actively used Blockchain.
According to Wikipedia, Ethereum Blockchain uses Merkle trees for security reasons, to improve scalability and to optimize transaction hashing. And with all Merkle tree implementation, it has room for storage savings, set membership proofs and not only that but also light client synchronization.
TRON BLOCKCHAIN

This is also a decentralized network whose aim is to build a trusted ecosystem among content creators, it is also focused on reducing the cost of accessing work made digitally. By using the Blockchain feature and peer to peer network, Tron tries to cover the gap that exists between content creators and content consumers by eradicating the middleman. This results to over all reduction cost for the consumer.
COMPARISON BETWEEN ETHEREUM BLOCKCHAIN AND TRON BLOCKCHAIN
They are both public Blockchains and are designed to be fully decentralized with no one individual controlling them.
They both enable Decentralized Application (dApp) developers to create complex protocols via smart contract and also utilize it
They both use concepts like decentralized finance (defi) and permissionless systems for creation of tokens (ER20 & TRC20)
Both Ethereum and Tron Blockchain has a three layer architecture.
They are both secured, reliable, fast and transparent.

In conclusion both Ethereum and Tron Blockchain has come to stay and they will both stand the test of time and the best time to invest in these platforms was in 2015 and 2017 respectively, the second best time is now.
